I just noticed the poetic irony of the final line of Lost. When Locke says "We've been waiting for you" to Jack in the church, he's not only referring to them waiting for Jack to 'awake', but that Locke's been waiting for Jack to believe him. Looking across the series, one of the overlying storylines that is present the entire series is Locke's faith in the island and Jack's journey to the same sense of purpose. The whole circle of destiny comes together. It's nice to know the two of them finally had closure.
