I seem to be one of the only people around who actually liked Shannon and Sayid together. I got to thinking about this after reading a posting online and here are my loosely constructed ideas on them...
I think that Shannon was a major part of Sayid's redemption arc.
My view of the Sayid/Nadia relationship was that in Sayid's mind he thought that if he could love her somehow he would be making up for his flawed past, that if he could shelter her that he was somehow redeeming himself.

Has anyone played the Virtual Villagers games? I think there are 4 and I played the first one my first year in college. I was vaguely remembering that it had similarities with Lost so I just downloaded the second game and there are lots of weird similarities..
Does anyone know if VV took their ideas from Lost? And if you did play and don't mind admitting to it, do you remember the similarities?Read more >
LOST, grant me the Serenity to accept the answers that you have revealed the courage to develop some answers of my own and the wisdom to know the difference.
Watching one episode at a time Enjoying one scene at a time Accepting character arcs as their pathway to peace Taking, as all fans have, this wonderful show as it is, not as I would have it Trusting that the show will be incredible if I surrender to its awesomeness That I may be reasonably happy in this season and supremely happy with rewatches of the DVDs forever in the future.
