As little as 4 hours ago I completed watching all the episodes from start to finish. I started watching in September, but came to a road block when I discovered that season 5 had not yet been released on DVD. TORTURE!!

So why did it take me this long to discover this gem? When it was revealed back in 2004 that they were doing a show about plane crash victims stuck on an island, I yawned. I didn't feel like investing in a show that I didn't think a ex-Party of Five alum could lead. What I failed to do was check out the cast members. If I had known that my all-time favorite actor was on, Terry O'Quinn, I would've changed my mind in a heartbeat. I fell in love with Terry when he played a very convincing Howard Hughes in The Aviator. I wasn't a big fan of Alias, so I had given up there. There is only one person that I need to thank for convincing me to give it a try and that is my eldest nephew, Dan.

Dan is "The King of T.V." and after reading a lot of his blogs on his kingoftv.net website and seeing the entire 1st season available at the library, I thought I would give it a go. Needless to say, I was hooked and didn't move from the sofa all weekend. LOST became like heroin. In fact, it is because of LOST that I decided to join NetFlix. Before I knew it, I had all 4 seasons under my belt and began my quest to find Season 5 anywhere on the net. Lucky for me, God invented HULU which saved me, but I was only able to view a few of episodes. It wasn't until this past Friday when they released the finals and I devoured them immediately.

I've been avoiding this site for obvious reasons, so that nothing was spoiled for me, but am glad to have joined. The theories and thoughts will keep this show alive, I believe, even after the final episode. (Maybe a LOST movie???) I just hope that all remaining surviving crash members, Others and Dharma residents don't end up in a jail cell somewhere, having mundane conversations.
