I was watching the opening scene again where they show the Island and the Statue underwater, and I noticed something new. There's definitely debris to the right of the underwater Statue, that looks like it could possibly be one of the ankhs it was originally carrying! We know that before Jughead somehow sunk the Island that the Statue was already broken, so we can't chalk this change up to the alternate timeline. This would appear to support the theory that the remains of the Statue of the Taweret that were somehow broken off were resting in the water near the statue, meaning it crumbled into the sea whenever it broke. The other pieces were always there, and now that it's underwater, we can see the rest of the statue. I could definitely be wrong, but what do you guys think? What do you think this debris is?
