I think I undstand where it's all leading....

The comment by Widmore about loved ones ceasing to exist makes me think that's what the whole war is about. One side wanting the non-crash timeline to be the true reality vs. the other side who want the 815 crash reality and subsequent events to be the true reality. I'm also putting forth the idea that Dharma has/had alot to do with this. Now, where Jacob and MIB fall into this scenerio I'm not exactly sure. As of right now they seem superhuman/godlike, but the fact that they were on the beach in the 1800's speaking modern English before English was modern tells me that they are from the future or have been to the future maybe not too many years away from all the Dharma/Lostie events. Time travel is rampant on Lost and Jacob/MIB could be v…

Ben and Widmore

Is the reason that Ben and Widmore couldn't kill each other the fact that they were both touched by Jacob, perhaps? If this has been asked and answered someone remind me.

I miss the way things were.

Yes, the final season is darker, more answers forthcoming and we may or may not like where it takes us. I've been watching season 3 lately and I've come to realize that I miss all the friendliness and dare I say fun that was in the characters those first seasons. Sawyer's quips and nicknames, Jack's I can fix it, Kate's I'll go with you, Sayid's I can make 'em talk, and everybody's willingness to pitch in on the quest. I know things hadn't gone too bad yet,the mysteries were there but we didn't know it was going to be on an epic time travelling MIB/Jacob scale just yet. To me Lost is in two parts: Seasons one through four had a certain glowing ambiance and seaons 5 and 6 the tone changed/is changing like someone flipped a lightswitch. All …

Looking forward to the journey

In this current environs I wanted to point out, regardless of where the storyline takes us, I'm looking forward to the acting, and the filming, and the music of Lost! I've always loved Lost not just for the story but for all the elements to make a great show. We've seen some spectacular performances. Naveen's Sundown performance was great. Sometimes you can have a not so great episode, but someone can pull off a great perfomance. Also, about Sundown, the look Locke gave Kate at the end...what emotion would you ascribe to that? If MIB can have a real human emotion.(he said he could).

Do the writers read these blogs?

I remember reading someone's blog from last year, they seem to hit the nail on the head with the what if/alternate timeline theories we were all throwing around. It was mentioned by someone wouldn't it be cool if Jack met up with Locke off island in another 'life' and operated on him or something like that. To see that same thing that was brought up in blog in an actual episode where Jack says if you ever need a consult and gives Locke his card was cool. Well Kudos to that blogger, you're either pyschic or on the payroll.
