Now that we know what the purpose of the flash sideways was -- all off island experiences are now suspect in my mind. Especially the episode in which Jack while in his drunken/drugged out hospital phase mentions Christian, who we all knew to be dead, yet Jack spoke about him as though he was alive and kicking. (You all remember which episode that was, right?) I did like the part of the ending when Eloise asked Des if he was taking her son with them... and Des said no. That was a very moving moment and gave me the big push toward what the ending was gonna be. For two and a half hours the story went so fast. I've enjoyed everyone's opinions about what we all saw (flash forward, HA!)

The acting was superb. I cried and cried, but I'm left wanting more. I have no problem with the episode other than the ENDING. Not Jack dying, but the FS being the place you hang out until you realize your dead. Season 6 and season 5 to an extent, deviated so far from where Lost took us in the first 4 seasons, I've felt I've been watching a different show. If it had been more faith less science maybe I'd have been better prepared. I'm still working it all out and hope I reach a peace about it. Does anyone remember me saying I hope they don't pull the Life on Mars ending??? For all intents and purposes it's the same: You're invested knee deep in a story that has nothing to do with the real story. I will say this: that I do understand the Da…

This season has been bugging me and I guess it is the pacing. Like a great book the closer you get to the end the faster you read, only I'm not in control of the pages!!!! ARGHHH!!!!! So the last recruit is Jack? Because MIB touched him? Is it the talking to MIB or the touching MIB that recruits someone? I thought Sun lost her voice to keep her from talking to MIB, but then I remembered she already talked to MIB, but has he touched her? I can't figure out if it is even relevant. AND, I think MIB is a liar. Much like Ben. Why tell the truth when lies will do? ps...I so wanted Kate to jump off the boat after Jack.

Is this radical? I think the pilot is the beginning and the end of Lost. Jacob/MIB practically told us this in their convo on the beach. Am I wrong? Probably. I'm just trying to think of a conclusion to all the progress we've seen. And, I've been adamant that this isn't Jack's first journey to the island. We'll see. See you next Tuesday.

Has anyone read the whispers transcripts? The "it's the dead" explanation doesn't satisfy me. Did the writer's run out of time and take the easy route for an explanation? With the whole FS/OT I was hoping for a cross reality explanation or something less purgatory-ish AT LEAST.

ps..I now think everyone's in Room 23 and the invisible DeGroots are whispering "life is but a dream"
