Anthony Cooper/James Ford Flash-Sideways Query

So I was reading "The Candidate" episode page and it says under Literary Techniques "Con artist Anthony Cooper is alive but a vegetative state in a nursing home. Detective Ford discovered this fact previously but ruled him out as the one who conned his parents. (Irony)" When did this happen? I just went through the "Recon" transcript and couldn't find anything. P.S. Frank is ALIVE
