Why else would they not have told us his name yet? We've heard Jacob's name forever, and if MIB had a different name like "Isaac" or whatever they would have revealed it in 'The Incident', or at least some time this season. For some reason they are keeping it under wraps, so I think it has to be someone we already know, possibly having something to do with time travel. Who could it be? Aaron? The other half of Jacob? What do you guys think?

on the show as a whole. It seems that all of us are constantly caught up in elaborate theories and with a constant need for answers from the producers. However after watching that episode I remembered why I loved the show in the first place and how the sci-fi mystery elements that we get obsessed with would never work without the compelling human drama (and awesome acting). Whatever the answers end up being for all of the trivial questions we have now, the show is and will end up being about humanity: the relationships we cherish, the choices we make, and the faith we bestow in things greater than us. Where is Widmore?

    March 9, 2010 by Daveuclahorn

I hope Widmore is the person that Jacob said was coming to the island. He has to be somewhat crucial to the plot and it would be great to see him face off with Ben again. The last we heard of him he was preparing Locke to go back to the island because a "war was coming". It looks like the war has definitely begun now, and considering Locke became inhabited by MIB on his return, do you think Widmore would align with MIB if he comes to the island?

Or do you think it is Desmond who is coming, considering the "island isn't finished with him yet"? What would his possible purpose be?

Anyone else think that Sawyer can recognize the long con that MIB is trying to pull on him and that he will end up exposing MIB before he can pull off his plan? I just think the producers went a long way to show how distraught and irrational Sawyer was after Juliet's death in order to get us to believe that he would follow MIB. Sawyer knows that the best way to actually get answers and save his friends is to stay close to MIB and stop him before he can achieve his end-game.

I'd have to say my favorite scene this year by far is the touching scene between Alt. Jack and Alt. Locke at the airport. After watching the episode again, I definitely think there is a deeper meaning to the "How could they know where he is?" line that he says to Jack about Christian, clarifying that just because the body is lost doesn't necessarily mean that his soul or whatever you want to call it is gone. I think that this is a metaphor for Locke in that no one really knows where the real John Locke is and that just because his body is lying lifeless in the sand doesn't mean that the real Locke's soul is gone forever. Let's hope this is the case and his tragic life can be redeemed.
