Just to say, I do not class this as a theory, but a coincidence. My Religious Education teacher has forced us to learn this for over a year, it is the most important quote for the Christianity exam in her opinion. The passage is "3:16" from the book of John. I only recently noticed that the title of this fits in with LOST, "John 3:16", John as in Locke and "3:16" as in Ajira 316. I then noticed that the passage explains roughly how "He died for our sin". So this pretty much fits in with what we know of Jacob so far. In other words, "John 3:16" not only has a passage title that mirrors LOST, but also the passage itself mirrors LOST.
