In The Incident, we clearly see the Black Rock sailing to the Island. The weather is perfect and clear. They would have obviously been able to see the Island, and of course the statue.
Yet, there was a storm which carried them inland. This wouldn't bother me at all except that during the storm is the first time the slaves see the Island and the statue, you'd think they'd see it obviously when the weather was clear.
What was up with that? Did a storm roll in seconds after that part in The Incident?
