So everyone seems to be discussing the importance of Love in Lost after last night's episode. And I agree, love plays a big part in the show, and very possibly does in connecting the two worlds (it certainly seems to). So, I got to thinking: the producers have sometimes mentioned Harry Potter when talking about Lost - they haven't really drawn any refernces to it, usually they just talk about how they themselves being able to finish Lost in year 6 is with the ending they always had is like J.K Rowling finish Potter with book 7 with the ending she always had. So, hopefully most, if not all, of you have read the Harry Potter series, and remember how Harry's mother, Lilly, gave him the ultimate protection, that ultimately saves his life and plays a big part in saving the world - Love. Any chance Darlton were inspired by this?
Any thoughts fellow wizards and witches?
