I just logged into Lostpedia a little while ago and saw that Libby was article of the week. When i saw the picture of her, it just hit me like BAM!!!! Maybe through either time travel or other unnatural force (or her mind was displaced in time like desmond), she got blown back to the mental hospital with hurley and she's thinking: "Whoa! there's hurley!" Or something like that. That was my initial thought, but it lead to me to thinking that when Libby died, her ghost or spirit or whatever got like misplaced in time, and she was one of those ghosts that hurley keeps seeing. Maybe she didnt move on to "the great beyond" because she felt she didnt have enough.... "closure" with hurley. Idk. Just my thoughts. not that they're ever gonna show …Read more >
I was just looking back at the season finale of Lost when Fake Locke and Ben were on their way to see Jacob. The Fake Locke influences Ben that he must kill Jacob. And when they finally meet Jacob, Ben does kill him, at least as far as we could see. This kind of reminded me of Star Wars. Fake Locke is kind of like an evil Sith Lord, and Ben is like a good guy but a little corrupted (remember he was a sweet little boy once until Sayid was stupid enough to shoot him), kind of like Anakin Skywalker. So the evil "Sith Lord" turned Ben to the "dark side" by making him commit an evil deed. I was just reading some other blogs and I realized something. Wouldn't detonating the H-bomb create a paradox for the Losties? I mean, okay, they go back in time, and set of a bomb in hopes of it changing the future so they never crashed. But when they set it off, they'd all die. So let's just say their plane doesn't crash. But then there wouldn't be anyone to set off the bomb because since they landed safely they wouldn't have crashed in te first place so they could set it off. And they couldn't get anyone else to do it because they wouldn't have any memory of the island, seeing as they haven't crashed. So that would create a paradox.
I think i might be missing something, but feel free to comment! This is my first blog by the way!Read more >
