What will happen if locke kills jacob?

What will happen if locke kills jacob?

i think that if jacob dies all of the mysteriousness (if thats a word) will be lifted and it will become just an ordianry island. or the opposite will happen, all of the creatures and the monster will hunt down the inhabitants of the island and all elecrtonic equipment will shut down or malfunction. thus causing the incident and the island being in the state its in when 815 crashes.

im not sure if im correct but its a possibility.
