Wow, it worked! John Locke just showed up at our camp with his father's dead body! Of course, we don't know if he actually killed his father or if he got James Ford to do it or if it happened some other way, but either way, he's here, and Ben is having to honor his agreement with him! They're talking inside Ben's tent right now, and one can only imagine what's transpiring between them right now. A lot of people at the camp are really curious to see what happens.
Yep, things are definitely getting really interesting. Right now, Ben is supposedly taking John Locke to go see Jacob! That's a huge deal, because from what I understand, as a rule, only the leader gets an audience with Jacob. So all of us were pretty shocked when we heard Locke announce it. However, right after they left, I talked to Richard, and he doesn't believe they're actually going to see Jacob, because Ben doesn't actually know where Jacob is! He says Ben gets his orders from Jacob through other means. Ben just wants people to think that he talks directly to Jacob. This is getting weirder by the minute! So the question is, if Ben doesn't know where Jacob is, then where exactly is he taking John Locke? Richard has no idea, and it seems like that would be cause for major concern, but Richard is confident that no matter what happens, Locke is going to be fine. Richard wasn't willing to explain how he knew that and said he's already told me more than he probably should, but he just somehow knows that Locke won't die just yet. I do hope he's right.
The other odd thing that happened just before Ben and Locke left was that Mikhail (that guy with the eye patch who works at the Flame station) showed up at our camp and told Ben something about a woman parachuting onto the Island, and Ben wanted to use that as an excuse to delay their visit to Jacob, so Locke pushed Mikhail to the ground and punched him in the face several times! None of us were expecting that, but what's interesting is that nobody stepped in to intervene. I think that's a pretty clear indication of how willing our group is to let Locke take over! I think Ben is pretty threatened by Locke at this point, which is why I'm worried that Ben will try to do something to him, despite Richard's assurances that nothing is going to happen to Locke. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
