After meeting with a few members of Danny's team to discuss the runway requirements and measurements, I headed over to the rec room and found Aldo in there playing pool, so I decided to ask him if he knew anything about the 40+ other survivors from the Oceanic crash. He seemed surprised and asked me where I'd heard about it, and I lied and told him that I simply overheard someone talking about it. He said it was a sensitive issue that Ben insists needs to be handled with special care, which is why they've got one of their people currently working undercover among those crash survivors to gather information. There's a rumor going around that one of the survivors is a man that the people of this island have been expecting and observing for many years before the crash, who was confined to a wheelchair for the past four years but was suddenly able to walk again as soon as he woke up on this island. They believe that this is proof that this man is extremely special and may even be destined to be their next leader. This all sounds pretty outrageous, and Aldo never got to finish talking about it, because a black woman wearing a scarf on her head who seemed like some sort of authority figure came over and asked to speak to Aldo in private, and they went into the side room and closed the door. I went up to the door but couldn't hear anything, except when Aldo was coming back out, he said, "Sorry, it won't happen again." Then he told me that he couldn't talk any more about the plane crash survivors. I guess he basically got in trouble for telling me what he already did. I don't know, I'm still not comfortable with all these weird secrets. I'm definitely going to have to mention that in my next session with Harper.
