Nathan and I got into an argument with Ana Lucia today about venturing inland to search for more food. We believe there are some wild animals that we can hunt, and that we'd have better luck finding fruit on trees if we explored a bit further, but Ana is still paranoid about encountering those people who attacked us on the first night. But that was like a week and a half ago, and we've seen no sign of those people since. Nathan and I tried to convince Ana that searching for more food is worth the risk, but she just wouldn't hear us out. That's when I decided to confront her about her dictator-like leadership style, and her attitude was basically, "These rules are to protect us... if you don't like the rules, you can go fend for yourself... blah blah blah..." Just as the argument started to really get heated, Libby and Goodwin came over to calm the situation down and suggested that we need to have a discussion as a group, much later when we're not at each other's throats. Ana said, "Fine," looked at me and Nathan, and then walked away. But after that, Nathan and I talked in private and decided that if we can't get Ana Lucia to listen to reason, we're going to have to rally the rest of the camp to stand up to her.
