LOVED the episode last night. I thought Nestor's performance was amazing. When looking at the Losties' lives it appears that they all gave in to their demons/depravity in the OT. The main players were all dark characters who seemed to have given up hope in their lives heading to the Island. In the FS however, it appears that at least Ben, Hurley, Sawyer, Jack, Sun and possibly Claire (not sure about Kate, yet) have not been overcome with "darkness", and rather seem to be optimistic about their lives.
So, in the FS it would seem that Jacob won the war, and the MiB was kept at bay. However, if the MiB's depravity escaped from the bottle in the OT, could that mean that the FS happened first?
