was written by Gregory McGuire. He is the author of Wicked, the novel about the "true" backstory of the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz. The novel was published in September 2001, and is about a woman who is forced to confront the ghosts of her past, and examine the choices she has made in her life.
I always been interested in all the references to the Wizard of OZ in Lost. And when they played Somewhere Over the Rainbow at the end of Comic Con it awaked my curiosity again, and I went and did some reasearch. I'm sure the Lost novel connection is common knowledge among fans, but it really blew my mind.
Does anyone agree with me and think this book could be important in terms of the theories of the show?
