    Jack's "Son"

    June 11, 2010 by Beastfreak

After finally witnessing the end to Lost, I'm pretty much satisfied with what the producers and writers gave us. That is except for Jack's son in the flash-sideways/afterlife. After the finale, we learn that what we thought was an alternate timeline turned out to be where all the characters go after they die. In this afterlife we see some changes in the character's lives such as Desmond being on the plane and Jack having a son. But how can Jack have a son in the Afterlife if all the people there were alive at some point in real life and eventually died. Jack never had a son in the OT, so how can he have one in the AT? Someone please explain this to me!

Why does everyone in this show insist on calling everyone else by their last names??? Its so annoying sometimes. I mean they do have first names and it sounds a lot better and less forced when you say "Where is Sayid?" instead of "Where is Jarrah?" I mean thats all they do! "Where is Jarrah?" "Alpert will come back" "Linus killed him" "Where is Ford?" "Shepherd is here" I mean I'm so sick of it!

Has anyone been noticing that in every flash sideways we see, we meet someone again who we met before on the island or had something to do with the island in the original timeline. In Kate's episode, we see Ethan. In Locke's we see Ben. Jack's, Dogen. Sayid's, Martin Keamy. For Ben's I think its either Alex or his dad, but I'm leaning towards Alex because he would have known his dad anyway but Alex had to somehow get connected with his life again. I was sure we were gonna see Danielle, but oh well. Anyway, does this have some kind of importance that even without the island, everyone will still have their connections with the people they met on the island? Locke and Ben had lots of experiences on the island together, they meet again …

When is Desmond coming back? He's the coolest character ever. Eloise Hawking said that the island isn't done with him meaning he has to come back. Plus he signed on as a main character but he's only appeared in LA X and that was barely anything.

    Alternate Timeline Theory

    February 13, 2010 by Beastfreak

Ok, so I've been thinking a lot about how time travel works in the LOST universe. This may get a little confusing so just stay with me. When the Losties get stuck in 1977 Sawyer makes a comment to Jack saying that on the mainland Anthony Cooper had conned his family only 2 years ago and that he could have stopped it but he didn't. That means that while the Losties are all on the island in Dharma time, their younger counterparts are all on the mainland living their lives. So when the atom bomb blew up and made the alternate timeline where Oceanic 815 never crashed, it didn't actually make a different timeline. There was no big white flash that caused all the Losties to disappear and appear on the plane. The counterpart Losties on the mainla…
