Well, not really. But apophenia is a funny thing, even with music. If you try, you can imagine every single piece in Lost is a variation on a single theme - perhaps Credit Where Credit is Due.

Then there are those people who say Pachelbel's canon influenced many songs, or even all popular music.[1]. Some connections deserve noting. With others, and I'm not just talking about that video, it's more like the songs share 4/4 timing rather than melody or chord progression. But connections, real or imagined, are always fun. I tried mashing most of Losts themes with Pachelbel's canon in this video. Some had no connection whatever. Others were so similar they scared me.
