I'm a little behind in the rewatch...but after watching the first four episodes again I realized why somepeople drew away from Lost. And I still dissagree with all of their negative comments. Lost was not a mere tv show. Lost was an experience. It was a journey that we were all invited to go on. The problem was that it was forced inside the form of a tv show, and so it was suseptable to people viewing it as such. The fact of the matter is that tv shows are not perfect. Production errors occur. Writers can't just hand in 6 years of script and say "so this is the show in it's entirety". 10 years from now all of the actors from Lost are leading successful lives as actors, and though they have all gone their seperate ways, they still cannot stop thinking about the story of Lost. Matthew Fow is at a social event and is greeted by one of Lost's former writers. Matthew has also had success over the last 10 years delivering many memorable performances on the silver screen but none of them are as meaningful to him as his time on Lost was. It's been a long time since I've posted anything. That's not to say I haven't been reading. I come often and still see some interesting posts. I'm ready for "The Re-Watch". I look forward to "going back"... I hope there are enough people to join in.

When Jack hugs Desmond and then hugs Boone, I thought it was nice because Desmond was the last person Jack saw before he died, and from Desmonds perspective, Jack was the man who gave him (most likely) a long happy life with his family. And with Boone, well Boone was the first major death, The first one on the island to tell Jack to "let go". Just some thoughts, now if only I could let go.Read more >
