    . . . the island. That would make it X Isle which sounds just like "exile." There's been a lot of talk about banishment on the island, for example Ben and Widmore were both banished from the island, Smokey seems to have been banished from the temple, Locke banished Kate from the barracks, Hurley conned Sawyer into being nicer by suggesting he was going to be banished, and exile is a synonym for banish. Just a thought, I think it fits.

    So, if the island is underwater in the alternate reality, where's Smokey? He doesn't like water, right? Does he even exist in the alternate? Or maybe the alternate universe is his home and that's what he's trying to get back to, another reality. Or could Smokey have created the alternate universe, like he created a duplicate Locke?

    When Kate's in Nebraska, just after she dies her hair back to its natural color, she goes to the post office and picks up a letter that has some money in it as well information about her mother's declining health. For the life of me, I can't figure out who sent it to her, any ideas?

    In another blog that got deleted because somebody didn't want to play by the rules, I suggested Time After Time as a title for the final episode. It's the title of a Cyndi Lauper song with lyrics about being "caught up in circles," a flashback, and being lost, which in itself relates to our favorite show, but it's also the title of a 1979 movie featuring two famous historical figures, H.G. Wells and Jack the Ripper, who are sent ahead in time. It's one of those "what if" scenerios, part sci-fi, part romance, part comedy, and part thriller with a super suspenseful, surprise ending. The entire point of the movie is that H.G. Wells created a time machine that allowed Jack the Ripper to escape and wreak havoc on modern utopian society (the …
