Something I just thought about with the whole "whatever happened, happened" theory people have come to taken as law. Now obviously, the only real evidence supporting this, is from Faraday and a few other lines from other people. A lot of people have begun to wonder if just because a few people said it, does that make it so. Well... not saying this has any sway in the way the writer's write Lost... but I do encourage you all to check out the US air date of this week's episode "Whatever Happened, Happened."

I certainly wouldn't put it passed the Lost writer's to notice this would be the air date, and choose this episode to "debunk" the theory that one cannot change the past. Or even sneakier of them... they could show evidence that almost assures we will think one way and the truth will come out differently. Sure a little lame I suppose, but who knows...
