Okay people. Are you ready? It appears that Hurley was never supposed to be on the plane. Everyone else has an explanation (except Desmond)but Hurley. Old Version: Hurley's winnings were unlucky so he went to the origin of the Numbers, 4 8 15 16 23 42, that guy who repeated them over and over while Hurley was at the Rehabilitation center. He told him that they started with a man from Australia. Turns out he's dead, so Hurley goes back to LA. New version: Hurley still wins the lottery with the Numbers, owns Mr. Cluck's Chicken Shack, but now he's the luckiest man alive. So why was he on the plane? If he did win, but the Island didn't make the Numbers unlucky, then that guy wouldn't have gone crazy, thus not repeating them over and over, so Hurley never knew about them, but he won by chance, so he shouldn't have gone to Australia because the Numbers weren't unlucky so he didn't see the guy for the origin of the Numbers. So why was Hurley on the Oceanic Flight 815? Aliciagutierrez13 00:16, February 5, 2010 (UTC)alicigutierrez13
