My Favorite Lost Scene - Walkabout

I just saw HH's post of one of his favorite scenes in Lost, with the video clip included. I thought it was such a great idea that I'm going to post my favorite scene.

This is the last scene in the fourth episode of Season 1, "Walkabout". This scene is what got me hooked on Lost. The pilot episode got me interested - this scene got me hooked for life. It is, by far, the most emotionally charged scene I watched in this excellent series. Enjoy.

The clip says more than I ever could. In this scene, we discover that Locke has been in a wheelchair during all of his flashbacks. The scene where Locke uses his legs for the first time on the island is, perhaps, the most touching in the series. Very beautiful music.

One of the things that makes this scene, as well as the Exodus scene mentioned in Hurley's Hummer's post, so great is the music accompanying the onscreen action. Michael Giacchino is a musical genius.

This is a great scene. I especially like the part when they flash back to the Island and Locke is looking at his feet.
And this scene got us started with the "Don't tell me what I can't do" line that become who Locke was.

This is one of my favorite scenes of the series. I think that it showed that Locke was in a way right about the Island and the nature of the Island. Also, Locke was trying convince Jack for most of the series, but Jack eventually believed for himself(albeit somewhat out of guilt)

i love this scene.. i always feel so sorry for Locke. i was always rooting for him to become the protector of the island. But i guess he did what he wanted, to help the island by making jack believe so he could save it.
