I love the LOST story and all the characters expect: Shannon Rutherford. LOST is the greatest serie in the world. I love LOST and it will always be my favorite serie of all time. LOST has many things what I like. I have the same name as users Robert h and Robert K S, for the people who wanna know it. Robert h is also from the Netherlands. This user has a nemesis, Crazy4lost. Number I

Jack, Locke, Sayid and Sawyer would've captured Ethan and tied him up and brought him back to the caves, hoping to interrogate him. Sayid would torture him, but Ethan would successfully stand his ground and not reveal anything about his people. So the Losties have him as a permanent prisoner and don't know what to do with him except keep him tied to a tree and bring him food and water. Eventually, Ethan manages to loosen his ropes and kill Charlie when he comes to bring him food. Ethan recaptures Claire, just in time for her to give birth to Aaron in the Staff station, and Ethan proceeds with his original plan to convince Claire to give up Aaron to the Others. Ethan and Juliet are able to continue their research on the pregnancy problem, and thanks to Claire, Juliet finally finds a cure. They release Claire back to the Losties and cover up their tracks.

Because Charlie is dead, he never finds the Nigerian drug plane with the Virgin Mary statues, and therefore Eko never learns where his brother's body is located. He also never ventures into the jungle to encounter the smoke monster. Thus when Locke leads a group to the Pearl station, Eko isn't there and doesn't die, and therefore Locke never sees the verse on Eko's stick about looking north, and he and Sayid never find the Flame or the Barracks.

However, Kate is still determined to go rescue Jack, so she still seeks out Rousseau to help her. But because they have no idea where to look, Jack and Juliet have already left the island on the sub by the time Kate finds the sonic fence. And when Kate does find the sonic fence, Sayid isn't there to stop her from walking through it, so she walks through it and dies. (Yay!) And with the pregnancy problem solved, Ben has no reason to raid the Losties' camp for pregnant women.

Desmond, Hurley and Jin find Naomi in the tree, but because Mikhail never shows up (he remained in the Flame all this time), Naomi dies. They take her sat phone. Sayid realizes that Rousseau's distress signal is causing interference, and meanwhile Rousseau shows up at the camp to tell them that Kate is dead, so Sayid asks Rousseau to lead him to the radio tower to turn off the recording. (No use having the entire camp tag along when they're not in any danger.) They turn off the recording, but because Juliet is long gone, they have no way of knowing that the Looking Glass is the reason they still can't get a signal. So that's pretty much that.

Meanwhile, Jack and Juliet settle down in Miami where Juliet is reunited with her sister and meets Julian for the first time, Jack goes back to being a spinal surgeon there and marries Juliet, though Jack has to take on a new identity because the Others had threatened to kill his friends if he ever reveals the truth.

And this is all a paradox because now the Losties have no way of travelling back to the 1970's to detonate Jughead and save the world from the Incident (based on my current theory which I don't know if it's true), and therefore the universe blows up.

The End.

Number II

Jack and Kate hold onto Locke as the smoke monster pulls him down the hole. The smoke monster cuts off Locke's arm, leaving Kate standing there holding the arm. Kate screams and drops the arm onto the ground. Jack realizes there's nothing more they can do and says, "Let's go!" and starts to run, but Kate is still standing there staring at Locke's severed arm with her typical traumatized look, so Jack has to yell, "KATE! COME ON!!" Kate finally snaps out of it and follows Jack to the hatch. They proceed to blow open the hatch with dynamite, Jack looks down the shaft and realizes they can't go down there, so they return to the caves and wait. Since Locke isn't there, nobody is interested in climbing into the hatch, at least not enough to MacGyver their way down there. So Desmond eventually realizes nobody is coming and goes back to his life of pushing the button.

Effectively this makes for a hatch-less Season 2. But wait... when the Tailies are trekking along the coast back to the mid-section camp, they find Desmond's boat parked at the cove!! Libby recognizes it and wonders how in the heck the sailboat that she generously gave to the man she met in Los Angeles three years ago ended up on this island. But the rest of them realize this is a great opportunity, so they all climb aboard and sail the boat (good thing Jin is with them) back to the Losties' camp. Cindy is never taken by the Others, so she also joins the camp. And Shannon doesn't die.

The Losties see this sailboat as their salvation; they can use it to escape the island. But there's just one problem. WAAAAALT!!! is still missing. Michael says, "I'm not leaving without my son!! They have my son!! I'm not leaving without him!! He's my son!!" Jack calms him down and comes up with a plan to lead a group to go look for Walt. Armed with the pistols from the Halliburton case (the only guns they have), a new A-Team takes off in the boat: Jack, Michael, Sayid, Sawyer (for revenge), Ana-Lucia (for her Others experience), Eko (to apologize for killing the two Others), Jin (for his sailing skills) and Sun (to go with Jin). Kate insists on going with them, but Jack refuses to let her on board. Kate momentarily considers secretly swimming behind the boat, but figures out that she can't.

The A-Team anchors the boat near the Tailies' original beach, and everyone except Jin and Sun climbs into the inflatable raft to paddle to shore. Michael steps out first and yells, "WAAALT!!! WAAAAALT!!!" and Jack has to calm him down because Sayid has a plan -- build a signal fire to lure the Others and ambush them.

The Others see the smoke from the signal fire, and Ben sends Ryan Pryce to go check it out. Ryan spies on the A-Team's camp from a distance and reports back to Ben that they have a boat. Ben sends two teams at night -- one led by Tom to surround and confront the A-Team, and the other led by Danny Pickett to steal the boat. Tom wears his fake beard and approaches the A-Team. He offers to take Michael to Walt and tells everyone else to go back. Jack refuses, Tom yells, "LIGHT 'EM UP!!!" and the surrounding Others light up their torches. Meanwhile, Pickett's team raids the boat and captures the unarmed Jin and Sun. They bring Jin and Sun to the beach with guns pointed at their heads, and this is their final leverage against the rest of the A-Team that forces them to walk back to their camp. The Others take Michael to their decoy camp.

The rest of Season 2 plays out similarly, but with no hatch and no Locke. Ben is unaware of Locke's fate and wanders toward the Losties' camp to see him and gets caught in Rousseau's trap. Sayid ties "Henry Gale" to a tree just outside the beach camp and interrogates him, but he doesn't lose control, since he never experienced the loss of Shannon. But they still eventually dig up the real Henry's grave and discover Ben's lie. The Others send Michael back to free Ben and to bring back Jack, Kate and Sawyer. Michael tells everyone that he escaped but that he knows where they're keeping Walt and that he wants Jack, Kate and Sawyer to help him rescue him. Later, when Ana-Lucia is guarding Ben at the tree, Michael shoots Ana and frees Ben, but Libby doesn't get shot because she's not looking for blankets there. Hurley and Libby have their picnic and come back in time for Ana-Lucia' funeral.

Michael leads the second A-Team toward the Others' ambush. Since there's no boat, Sayid secretly follows them from a distance on his own. However, the Others capture him and take him straight to the Barracks. The rest of the Others capture Jack, Kate and Sawyer and release Michael and Walt on their boat. The Swan discharge never happens; Desmond continues to push the button.

The first half of Season 3 on the Hydra island plays out about the same. Later, when Kate comes back and decides to go rescue Jack, she goes alone because Locke isn't there and Sayid is still at the Barracks. Jack and Juliet leave the island on the sub, and Kate walks through the sonic fence and dies. (See my previous "What if".) Because Desmond never turned the failsafe key, Widmore never found the Island, so the freighter never comes. And without Juliet, Ben figures it's no use raiding the Losties for pregnant women. Charlie doesn't die. Shannon assumes Sayid is dead, but otherwise, life returns to normal.

Meanwhile, back in Miami, Jack has moved in with Juliet. He's working in the hospital late one night, when suddenly a smoke detector starts beeping, and he goes to the lobby to replace the battery. He sees his dad sitting in a chair. Christian gets up and walks away down a hall, and Jack follows him. After a few minutes of this chase around various corners, Jack sees Christian walk into a room and close the door behind him. Jack opens the door and walks into a room and finds himself face-to-face with... John Locke. Locke says, "Hello, Jack."

Number III

Ana Lucia just happens to be away when Bernard turns on the radio and hears Boone's voice. Bernard hears a loud crash on the other end, the plane falling to the ground. Miraculously, the plane's radio still functions, and as Locke is pulling Boone from the wreckage, they hear Bernard calling, "Hello? Hello? Are you still there?? We're survivors of Oceanic Flight 815! We crashed on an island."

Locke gets on the radio and says to Bernard, "Yes, I'm here, we're also survivors of Flight 815, but my friend was just injured badly in an accident, and I have to take him back to our doctor." Locke takes Boone back to the caves to be treated by Jack. The difference is, Locke is now confident that finding the tail section survivors was the reason he had that dream, so he decides to tell Jack about the plane, instead of go off and beat his fists on the hatch in frustration. With the correct knowledge of what happened to Boone's leg, Jack is able to save Boone's life.

Locke goes back to the plane and radios Bernard again. Bernard asks Locke about Rose. Locke goes back to the beach to get Rose so that she can talk to Bernard. This is how Bernard is able to convince Ana Lucia that it's not a trick by the Others. Ana decides that they will start heading along the coast toward the mid-section survivors the next day. Bernard and Rose are both excited and looking forward to finally being reunited.

Unfortunately, the next day never comes, because Locke never beat his fists on the hatch, so Desmond ends up killing himself, the button doesn't get pushed, and the world gets destroyed.

Number IV

Michael returns to the hatch, tells his fake story about the Others to Jack and Kate, then finds out from Ana Lucia that they captured an Other and that Sayid killed him. Michael panics because now he can't complete his mission of releasing Ben to the Others. Libby stops by and gets blankets, is surprised to see Michael and talks with him briefly, then heads back to the beach for her picnic with Hurley. Michael figures the best he can do is bring Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Hurley back to the Others and explain to them that Ben was already dead when he got there. He rounds them up and leads them into the Others' trap.

The Others never wanted to release Michael and Walt off the Island, so they figure that since Michael failed to free Ben, they have an excuse not to let them go. They imprison Michael and Walt, as well as Jack, Kate and Sawyer. Since they need the extra cage space, they move Karl from his cage straight to Room 23, and they put Kate in that cage. (They have no reason to let her shower and change clothes, since there's no breakfast with Ben.) Sawyer and Michael share a cage. Walt gets put in Room 16 down the hall from Room 23. Alex hears that her "father" is dead, feels horrible because the last thing she said to him was "I wish you were dead", and she blames the Losties and therefore has no desire to help them escape.

With Ben dead, the Others have a meeting to discuss what to do with their new prisoners. The ones they captured are of no use to them, since their only purpose was for Jack to remove Ben's tumor, and they weren't on Jacob's list of people to add to their society, but on the other hand, they're not in the habit of just letting people go. So the Others decide they'll brainwash each of them in Room 23. Tom becomes the new leader of the Others for the time being.

Meanwhile, Kate discovers she can escape through the top of her cage and breaks Sawyer and Michael out. Sawyer suggests that they split up and run as fast as they can ("every man for himself"), but Kate insists that they stay together and try to rescue Jack ("live together, die alone"), and Michael refuses to leave without Waaalt. Just as they finish arguing, two of the dumber Others find them and point their rifles at them, and Kate manages to grab one's gun while he's distracted for a second, and Sawyer grabs the other. Danny Pickett and another Other arrive on the scene and draw their guns, just as Kate is pointing her gun at the captured Others, so Pickett shoots Kate dead. (Yay!) Sawyer rushes Pickett, yelling, "You son of a b..." and Pickett shoots Sawyer dead. Over the next couple of days, Jack, Michael and Walt get Room 23'd and then settle into houses in the Barracks, though under constant video surveillance.

Back at the beach camp, Locke and Sayid prepare to head north on a bearing of 305 from Eko's stick, and Ana Lucia joins them. They find the Flame, capture Mikhail, Locke grabs some C-4 and enters 77, they come to the sonic fence and climb over it, then find Jack, Michael and Walt playing football with Tom. Ana Lucia sneaks into Jack's house at night and gets captured, and so does Sayid. The Others put Ana and Sayid in the rec room. Since Tom is the only Other that Locke recognizes, Locke sneaks into Tom's house and demands to know where the submarine is, but since he has no leverage, Tom is able to stall long enough for other Others to come and capture Locke.

Desmond, Charlie, Hurley and Jin find Naomi and bring her back to the camp. Eventually, the people on the Kahana realize that Naomi has been gone for too long. Since Ben never put Michael or any other spy on the Kahana, the communications never get sabotaged, so Minkowski is able to receive orders from Widmore to send Keamy's team to the Island to rescue Naomi and extract Ben (not knowing yet that Ben is dead); they have no reason to think it's safe to send the scientists. Lapidus pilots the helicopter with Keamy's team over the Island, they experience heavy turbulance, and Keamy and his men are forced to parachute out, while Lapidus lands the chopper. Keamy and his men eventually regroup and follow Naomi's locator beacon... to the Losties' camp. They storm the camp with machine guns ready and demand to know where Naomi is, so the Losties take Keamy to Hurley's tent where Naomi confirms that she knows Keamy from the freighter. Keamy then asks everyone where Ben Linus is, and of course, nobody knows who that is, so Keamy shows a picture of Ben, and Hurley immediately recognizes "Henry Gale" and says that Sayid killed him. They dig up Ben's body as proof. Keamy is pissed, because he knows Widmore won't pay him the full reward if he doesn't bring Ben back alive, so he orders his men to proceed to do the other thing they came to do: kill everyone else on the Island. The soldiers mercilessly gun down all of the Losties. Then just as they're about to leave, Omar discovers that baby Aaron has survived the mayhem and decides he can't kill an innocent baby, so he takes Aaron with him as they return to the helicopter and leave the Island. Aaron eventually grows up to become an evil mercenary soldier.
