Time TravelEdit

ok, we can put this to a vote if you insist, but time travel is *not* solved. I agree with you 100% that the pockets of electromagnetic energy cause it. But that's all we know. I am not expecting an answer to the physics of this... but there are a number of different questions about time travel. Such as, why were the 815ers, Juliet, and the freighties the only ones affected? Why not Richard and the Others? Were the time periods completely at random or was someone planning them? For all we know, MIB was somehow controlling them. I mean, the time periods they landed in seemed extremely convenient for setting up MIB's plan. Why is the exit in Tunisia? Why do non-travellers not see the flash? I.e. Richard in 1954, Ethan, etc. Why *did* Desmond see the flash when Daniel was talking to him? If Ben put the wheel off its axis in 2004, how did this effect the wheel in 1867? Was the "flash" that sent the 77ers back to 2007 caused by Jughead or the electromagnetism or both? Did it send them to 2007 "on purpose" or was this just a coincidence? I could go on and on. As far as we know, MIB can't use any transportation tools alone. Even as a dead person. (Well, the idea of travelling with Smokey on a plane still sounds pretty funny to me:-) ) So i can't find an explanation to how he reached LA, and appeared to Jack. Probably it was a kind of mental/telekinetic voyage similar to Walt's, but i still think that it must stay as partially solved until we get a few more answers about MIB if you don't mind. Ghosts or MiB?Edit

I think the "all but" are the operative words in your statement. I don't think we can say definitively that Emily and Libby are the monster. Who's to say they're not just souls in purgatory like Michael is now? I'm not saying we're likely to get a better answer to this in the last few episodes, but to impose a theory on the rest of the encyclopedia doesn't seem proper. Thoughts? Abbreviations Page Edit

Orphan - I will work on moving the abbreviations from the Glossary and puting them in alphabetical order. Also is there any way we can get that glossary on the main page? My belief is that a glossary should be front and center (not literally front and center, I think you know what I mean). There are alot of folks who ask what this and that stands for, so I figure it should be somewhere where people can find it. Several of these questions in the articles haven't been answered yet and therefore cannot be considered to be fully solved. We have only three episodes left. Hello Orhan. User:BalkOfFame has removed over half the information on Juliet Burke. This was one of the best articles on the wiki and he has just gotten rid of all that information wthout so much as a discussion first. Well, he didn't exactly remove information, he summarized it, and in my honest opinion Juliet's article is still one of the better ones, as it still follows Lostpedia's manual of style, is written really well (while checking the previous content I came to see a lot of not so great sentences in the article) and covers Juliet's life pretty well. If you really disagree with the rewrite feel free to discuss it on Juliet's talk page, just put a discussion banner on the article, state your reasons for wanting the old content back and see what other users think. Once you reach a consensus, the article will either stay the same or his edits will be reverted. --Orhan 94 06:43, May 25, 2010 (UTC)

Hmm... Looks like we're hitting the limit on the number of allowed template references. I'm not sure what we should do about that. Normally I'd either do subpages (which seem like they detract from the intent of a portal) or write out the templates manually (which might be a problem with the crossrefs), but neither of those seem viable here. Is this a restriction of Wikia or is it specifically an LP thing? Is there maybe something that could be done by Wikia to fix this, since it's been a problem on a number of lengthy pages? I think the page is about ready to be put up. I know it's still missing a few parts, but it's good enough that I think we can go and let people start editing it, so long as we leave the construction banner up for now. What do you think? User removing UQs Edit

I have left a message on User:Boondocks4ever talk page about his habit of removing UQs without explanation on multiple pages. In fact it seems to be all he does! I know there is an argument that there should be no UQs now, nevertheless that is not settled and in the meantime this rabbit continues his sole task in life unabated. Problem user Edit

Hey, this user signed up earlier today and has done nothing but add irrelevant trivia to the cork stone article. I reverted their edit a couple of times but they continued to add it. I dropped them a message on their talk page, which was probably ignored because they carried on doing it. They appear to have given up - for now. i posted this on 3 admins talk pages but i have not heard a reply back, you seem to be the most active admin so can you please listen to what i have to say? it says that i was banned for creating a sockpuppet or being a sockpuppet. why would i create a sockpuppet? (note that in my previous posts i did the internet research so i know what some words are), i dont know why id try to create a sockpuppet, im not out to destory you guys or give myself prasise, im not an egotistcial person who cares about himself. also i dont think im the sockpuppet of somebody, im not to hurt or insult anybody or lost because i love them both. why would i insult the things i love!

also im not a troll (again, internet research). note that ive watched the entire show since i was 9 and i loved every minute it. sure people might hate on the words i use but i do come up with my own theories and i dont poke fun or hate on lost, sure i might not fit in the right way but i do love lost and i have watched it. in fact i have not hated on one lostpedia user since i joined (there was something with faradayallday but were friends now), why would i hate anyone, i love you guys except those trolls who aim to make people angry for their own pleasure. i just wanted to post what i think because i did not create a sockpuppet nor am i the sockpuppet of somebody else. im just a user like everybody else here, a user who loves lost but cant seem to act normal or write well. anyway thank you for listening and if you dont unban me from the forums, thats cool, i just wanted to get my stuff out there. --Lostwillnevarend 13:10, June 5, 2010 (UTC)

Mass deletion of flash-sideways timeline articles Edit

Man in Black picture Edit

Hi, there is a bug somewhere.

We uploaded a new image for the MIB a few times ago. Then Sauronmatrix made improvments on the said image. (he made it clearer)

But, now, the very first version shows up on the file's page, while the most recent one is displayed on the actual articles. Problem is that the "most recent one" can only be seen on the pages of the article (like, "the man in black") but doesn't show up on the image page, thus it's not available in high resolution, as it previously was.--Atarada 15:27, June 11, 2010 (UTC)

The correct picture is the one displayed here http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/The_Man_in_Black , but when you go on the picture's page, you'll see a different one(which is the wrong one).
