Character appearances page Edit

Delete Portal:Recurring Characters Page Edit

Just to let you know, when you posted the deletion banner on Portal:Recurring Characters, your stated reason for the deletion was that it was a copy of Portal:Recurring Character Appearances, but the second one is just a redirect to the first so I'm not sure what you're intent was there. Hey thanks for your comment on my theory, I am hoping it will prove to be right :) As for Titus being a character who died, that is very very possible - perhaps it is the same with Jacob? RE:Bot Edit

Hi ! R2D2 is helping me a lot. I use it for massive tasks (article renaming, templates changes, categorizing, etc.) it's why I mentioned it on Lostpedia:Ideas. The starter point is to choose the technology you want to use. I personnaly use DotNetWikiBot but it requires to compile the script (C#) and run the exe file on your computer... I also tested a PHP one which work great. I didn't try the Python one but Nanaki is using it so we may see with him. Wyz ♪ ★ 06:22, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

As I said you first need to find out the bot technology you want to use. The best is to find out one with which you feel confident (in my case I wanted to learn and use C#). You must also be aware that some ran on Linux and other on Windows (and some on both) and some can be stored on a server you can access everywhere. Please read wikipedia:Wikipedia:Bots. Just think also that you need to create an account for you bot and ask the bureaucrats to flag it as a bot so its changes can be hidden by default in Special:RecentChanges. Editing pages Edit

I noticed that you've gone behind some of the pages I've edited and deleted one of the spaces in between the sections. I have no problem with this whatsoever, and I just wanted to know if I was doing it wrong, or if that was just your preference. No, no... again, I don't want to come off as upset as that is not even close to being the case. I hesitated even bringing it up, because I didn't want you to think I was. Here's what I was talking about... when I edit a theory page I put 2 lines inbetween the last post on a theory, and the next sections heading, like this....

That is all I was doing, but I noticed that you went in and removed one of the lines to make it 1 line total in between. Here is an example about what I mean [1]. I just wanted to know if I was doing it wrong and needed to adjust my editing, or if you just preferred it that way. I hope you didn't take this the wrong way. Zdravo, I just wanted to thank you for your contribitions and to say 'hello'. Orhan is my grandfather's name, so i thought that you could be Turkish, but i saw that you are Macedonian. Once i've been to Skopje for a very short time, and i have to say that it's really a great city! Also I appreciate (and a little jealous with...lol) the number of languages you can speak/understand despite your relatively young age, maybe you can add Turkish into your list some day. I haven't seen your city yet, but i know that it's the seond biggest city, and the source of a famous Macedonian song. <looking for the lyrics> "Bitola , moj roden kraj, vo tebe sum roden...". New Spoiler Policy Edit

I have created a new spolier/promotional material policy that I feel correctly addreses the issues at hand: titles, ignored discussions, and the fact that our motivation is contradictory to our policy.
