Hi. I love Lost and the mysteries in it. I'm also very interested in the Flight 815 survivors, espcially the background survivors (they should get stories too!). I really miss Libby. She's my favorite character and I hope we continue to see her throughout the show. Same with Cindy! I like her too and hope we learn about her time as an "Other" (along with the other kidnapped Tailies). I'm an active member of Lostpedia and a SysOp of MySims Wiki [1] which I've been working on a lot. It's small, but it's growing! Here on Lostpedia, I just go through pages and make any edits necessary. That's all I can think to put here for now...If you need to contact me, leave me a message on my talk page. Juicy gossip: apparently Julia Summo (Female Tailie) told me that the tailie extras should be returning in Season 6! Finally! Except she won't because she has too much work, even though her character is dead haha. But she said she will probably show up in a few extra scenes, most likely flashbacks. Good to see that LOST hasn't forgot about the poor Tailies :) (and about time too, this is last season!)

Questions are in no particular order.

What's Libby's full story? It has been told. She had a breakdown after her husband died and went to a insitution on her own for about a month, then she left.

What happening to the Island now that it keeps moving? When will it stop? Ben stopped it when he moved the wheel.

What happened to the "tailies" who were kidnapped? (Cindy, Nancy, Zack, Emma, etc.)

Who are the other "tailies"?

What's up with Claire Littleton?

What happened to Ilana/Why she being so rouge? What is her agenda? She is an ally with Jacob, more knowledge is needed.

Who are Ilana, Bram and several others working for? Jacob.

What's in the metal crate we see on the beach of the Ajira 316 camp? John Locke's body!

What's up with the 4-toed statue?

What happened to the rest of the people of Flight 316? Most, if not all, survived the crash landing while Jack, Kate, Sayid & Hurley flashed to 1977.

How many survivors died in the beach attack and what are their names?<strike> Neil is one, the rest are unidentified, however it is likely that they are Craig, Steve, Tracy, etc. See my chart for complete list of names.

<strike>How does John Locke die? Does he come back to life? He hung himself. He was resurrected upon to returning to the Island via Flight 316.

Is everyone aboard the Kahana dead? Pretty much. Jin's the only survivor.

Is Jin dead? NOPE, HE'S ALIVE!

How did Isabel die? It is unknown how she died, maybe during the submarine explosion

Who was the 4th tailie who died? (Female Tailie, Donald, Male Tailie are 3 out of the 4 tailie casualties) It could be the man in gray-shirt who was seen pulling himself out of the water. Or the woman in green shirt. Unsure who.

How does Ben get off the island? The frozen donkey wheel.

What happened to the crew of the Black Rock? How did it end up on the middle of the island?

Was Flight 815 pilot Seth Norris working for Widmore? (He replaced Frank Lapidus, some think he crashed the island on purpose because of what he asked Jack when he woke up.)

What the heck is the Smoke Monster??

What happens to Amy later since Olivia is with Horace?

Who is Amy's baby? It's Ethan Rom

What happens to Amy in the future? Is she Amelia?

Who is Henry Gale?

Who was that figure in the Barracks house at the end of "Namaste"? most likely the black-shirt reshirt (the large injured 316 woman)

How is Richard Alpert not aging at all??

Who were/are the Hostiles? It's been revealed that they are the Others, however more is to be learned.

How will John, Jack, Kate, Sayid, Aaron and Sun (and Ben?) get back to the Island? On a specific flight. They all flashed/crashed onto the Island. Aaron however is missing.

What happened to Aaron and where is he? He was given to Carole Littleton by Kate when Kate decides to go back to the Island to get Claire.

What's the runway that was being built in the quarry on Hydra Island for? Flight 316 used it when crash landing.

Who and what happened to the front section survivors, if any?

What happened to the Others now that the island is skipping through time? Same with the Tailies who were kidnapped. They appear not to be affected though it is unknown why.

Is Charlotte alright? Charlotte has died due to her returning to the Island when she left it when a little girl.

Are Eloise Hawking and Ellie the same person? Yup!

What happened to Montand when he was pulled in the Monster's hole?

What is the sickness that Robert, Brennan and Lacombe supposedly had?

Why did the monster kill Nadine and presumably Montand?

What exactly is the sickness as described by Dannielle? Is it actually initiation process of the science team members actually turning into the Others and that's why they tried to get Dannielle, the only one who has not gone into the Temple? (I saw this in the forum and found it interesting)

What happened to Jack and crew when the Incident went off!?

What the hell is Jacob's enemy person? WTF!

Is Jacob dead?

Why did Jacob keep touching the people who would be passengers of 815?

Theories

The Tail-section List

It is possible the Others decided to kidnap more survivors who weren't on the list. Could have been a change of plans and the list wasn't edited, or during the chaos, they grabbed as many as they could. Could explain the reason why more than nine tailies actually disapeared. The nine kidnapped are (or should be):

  • CONFIRMED AS AN OTHER THROUGH SIGHTINGS:
  • SEEN BEING DRAGGED AWAY/KIDNAPPED:
  • NAMES MENTIONED:

The nine above characters were on the list. Jim and Eli are unseen characters. Their names were shouted out by Libby during the chaos. They may be "Mr. Squinty" or the 5 other unnamed men above. It is unknown which faces match these names.

However, there are several tailies remaining who dissapeared after the 12th night. But then this would make the claimed number taken, 9, inaccurate. However this is explained in the beginning of this section. The following are those who, logically, should have been taken. (OR, one could suggest they were killed and bodies dragged off or they fled and something happened to them. Their statuses remain unknown)

When going through "The Other 48 Days" screenshots, I did not see any other survivors that could be the two dead. It is also likely that there weren't anyone written in to match the four who died prior day 5 (not counting those who died on the first day from drowning, etc.) in the filiming. But if one wanted to attempt to fit a picture with two of the four deceased, these two could be the last two.

Eloise Hawking and Ellie - CONFIRMED

I believe Eloise Hawking and Ellie are the same person...AND I WAS RIGHT. Twas so obvious.

  • Both are British.
  • Ellie, 50 years later (1954 --> 2004) would be about the same age as Ms. Hawking.
  • Ms. Hawking lives in LA, Widmore gives Desmond the address to Faraday's mom who livesin LA.
  • Faraday named his pet rat Eloise, after his mother.
  • When Faraday was with Ellie going to the Jughead bomb, he said something like "you remind me of someone I know" and it's most likely his mother.
