I have searched this site and I can find no mention of the term sockpuppet.

According to Wikipedia, a "sockpuppet is an online identity used for purposes of deception". There is no deception involved here. I declare up front that I an Sean Sheep, and am using this account in the sole attempt to clear my name, having been accused by Jabberwok, of posting spoilers, an accusation I not only strongly deny, but I feel totally insulted by.

The ban notice says that you can discuss this with the administrators. However, you cannot do this if you are a banned user. There is a chat facility which is no longer used, and apparently there are at least two administrators who do not respond to thoughtful and well-argued emails.

I created another account in order to (a) discuss the ban with Jabberwok, and (b) carry on the work I had been doing (because it thought is was just a mistake, and would get cleared up almost immediately). Not only was this new user banned, but apparently I had broken some rule of Lostpedia by creating this account from the same IP address, and committed the crime of being a sockpuppet. I have searched through Lostpedia, and there is no mention of the term, and it would seem that there is no such rule. As I have provided the definition of a Sockpuppet above, and as I state clearly, this account is merely so that I can attempt to clear my name, even if there were a 'sockpuppet' rule, I am not breaking it.

For those people who know my work as Sean Sheep, you will appreciate how I feel. I have put in a lot of effort into this site, with about two and a half thousand edits, and I reckon that I have provided some very good and insightful theories to the blog pages, as well as helping to restructure the Season 6 theory pages. Some of the people that I have edited may very well say 'good riddance', as they do not like my style; however, this is an injustice, and I do not like injustices in any shape or form; especially when they happen to me.
