First ClueEdit

About 20 peole turned up - less than Manchester - but at least it was sunny. Northeners and their love of rain, eh? The 1st clue was given to us on a necklace-tag-thing like in Manchester - Look outside this wooden home constructed in 1869.

The only wooden "home" in Greenwich is the Cutty Sark, so I think almost everyone went off there. Fortunately, it happened to have been built in 1869, so it seemed we were on the right track. Unfortunately noone could find any sort of clue around there. We searched all the way around it for what must have been half an hour, and then someone spotted a flag high up in the sails. This flag had written on it words to the effect "A place designed by Christopher Wren, head to where east meets west and look around"

Second ClueEdit

This was referring to the Greenwich Meridian (where east does indeed meet west) and The Royal Observatory there (built by Wren). Most people took the direct route to the Observatory, but fortunately me and the small group I had tagged on to took the scenic route through the Royal Maratime museum (the big white building in the photos). We were coming around the back of the museum when I noticed something suspiciously like a glyph painted on the grass. We went in for a closer look and there it was in all its glory. A TPTBer came over and said well done etc etc but we had taken a short cut. We were meant to go all the way up the hill to the observatory and find it from there. So all the people that had taken the direct route missed it. We did go up there and met with TOG and all the other TPTBers and chatted (nothing significant was revealed). They handed out Apollo Bars and Lost Magazines to us too, and a photographer came around and snapped us. TOG told me off, for giving hints to some of the late arrivals (All I said was "Think of the Question Mark" and "You are already on the cliff....") :(
