After arriving at the airport, Elliot realized how much he loved Lisa. Robbie rescued Dawn from a mugger and sent her to the airport to meet up with Ryder. Hurley cut in front of Chris, Craig, Steve, and Larry by the metal detector. Zander tried to calm Sullivan, who was afraid of flying. While waiting for the plane, Richard met Ryder and "talked" with him. Joseph went to get a chocolate bar and when he was at the vending machine, he heard his mother's voice tell him not to get on the plane. He went and hid. Sam forced Amon onto the plane without Joseph. Ryder found a note that Eddie had given to Amon. Ryder gave the note to Sam and asked him to contact the plane when they found Joseph. Daisy changed her mind at the last minute and did not get on Flight 815. Passengers began boarding Oceanic Flight 815. Elliot saw Kate get onto the plane. Hunter arrived at Gate 23 to see Verena before she left. Sam and Sonya shared their last kiss before she got on Flight 815. Dawn got to Gate 23 just in time to get on Flight 815. Eddie retrieved Joseph from the airport.

• Oceanic Flight 815 - A few hours into the flight, Sonya told Ryder that Joseph had been found. Throughout the flight, George endured Shannon and Boone's bickering. Jason found Dexter and told him to give Daisy some space. Richard saw Kate and noted her handcuffs. Verena met Sayid on the plane. Lance, Dieter, and Larry woke up during the turbulence. Larry tried, unsuccessfully, to console Craig about Jenna. Lex got up and started walking over to Elliot when the turbulence started. Howard prepared to take a picture of the view when the turblence started. Part of the ceiling fell during the turbulence and it crushed Steve Dobson. Eli saw Ana Lucia being hit in the head.
