Oscar Tyson Wolfe is a background Kahana crew character. His character is not featured on the show, but is depicted in the story entitled Lost 4Ever, created by Lostpedia user Crash815. He also appeared in Faith Harrington's flashbacks in "Endangered Species". He was a radical environmentalist, who dated Faith Harrington for over a month. He used Faith to get close to her professor, who Oscar tried to kill. He was caught by the police and put in jail. With the help of Oscar Talbot, Oscar got out of jail and became part of the crew of the Kahana. He made his way to the Island and was caught in the time flashes, like the survivors. After the time flashes ended, Oscar found his way into the DHARMA Initiative, with the Flight 815 survivors. Three years later, Oscar was forced to run from DHARMA after a failed sabotage of the Phoenix Project. He was last seen at the edge of the Swan Construction Site with Zander, Bob, Peter, Ryder, and Chris.

Before the KahanaEdit

ChildhoodEdit

When Oscar was eighteen-months-old, his mother was murdered by his father, while he was being babysat by his aunt and uncle. (...In Time) As a result of his mother's death, Oscar was raised by his aunt and uncle, along with his cousins, Doug and Lewis. (Who I Am)

Original Timeline
(Oceanic Flight 815 crashes on the Island)

A couple years after his mother's death, Oscar attended another aunt's wedding. (Who I Am) Only about a month later, his aunt died, along with her new husband, on her way back from her honeymoon to Singapore. (Home Sweet Home)

As a child, Oscar had nightmares where he saw his father. He remembered his father's eyes, distinctly. (...In Time)

Later, when Oscar was in school, he was bullied, alongside his cousin, Doug. During one particular incident, Doug was bullied because he was standing up for Oscar. (Who I Am)

Adult LifeEdit

Oscar was a radical environmentalist. He met Faith in August of 2004. They dated and went to protests together. (Endangered Species) Shortly after meeting Faith, Oscar called Rune, who he had been plotting Arreglo's death with, and they began planning to use Faith in their plans to kill Arreglo. (Who I Am) On their first date, Oscar's consciousness was thrown into the future until he finally saw Faith in both times, stabilizing him. (A Second Chance) They went to Australia to protest against Faith's former PhD advisor, Luis Arreglo. While in Australia, Oscar set up a meeting for Faith to talk to Arreglo about what he was doing. Oscar used this meeting to inject Arreglo with poisonous snake venom, in an attempt to kill him. After returning to their hotel room, Faith knocked Oscar out and ran for the airport. (Endangered Species)

Later that day, he woke up, with a bruise on his head. Moments after he awoke, police officers arrived and arrested him for the attempted murder of Dr. Arreglo. (Who I Am) About a week later, Oscar was brought to Arreglo's hospital room to be officially identified. (Death Adder) The next day, Oscar was deported to the United States where he was put in jail in Los Angeles. (Breakout)

After about two months in jail, Oscar had a dream about a woman telling him to board the Kahana, later that month, or else "she" would die. (A Second Chance) Two days later, Oscar had another dream, where he saw Dawn tripping, getting onto Flight 815. She was helped up by Faith. The dream ended abruptly with Nancy appearing and telling Oscar to save "her". (Breakout)

Early the next morning, Oscar was thinking about his recent dreams. Suddenly, he saw gas coming from under the door. He covered his mouth with a blanket. Suddenly, a man came into the room and unlocked his cell. Then he gave Oscar a gas mask. With the man's help, Oscar escaped from prison. Once out of the prison, Oscar reunited with Z-Man and the man who had helped him introduced himself as Oscar Talbot. (Breakout) Z-Man and Oscar arrived at a motel soon after and, from there, Oscar called Charles Widmore to get a spot on the frieghter. (The Call)

Later that day, Oscar and Z-Man checked to make sure he was prepared. The next day, he traveled to Fiji and joined the crew of the Kahana under the name of "Edwin Phillips". When boarding the boat, Oscar bumped into Jeff Murphy, and introduced himself. After dropping off his bag in his quarters, Oscar called Z-Man and reported that he was on the boat. (Port of Suva)

Aboard the KahanaEdit

A few days out to sea, Oscar sat in his quarters, thinking about his dream. He pondered who was he was supposed to save. The person that kept coming to mind was Faith. Unable to stand his own thoughts anymore, Oscar went out onto the deck and saw Keamy and his mercenaries harrassing and ridiculing Michael. The next day, Oscar saw Minkowski telling Michael of a call from "Walt". Two days later, Oscar and Michael met each other, officially for the first time, though both of them introduced themselves under aliases. (Who I Am)

The next day, Oscar talked with Murphy about Naomi, who was planning on leaving the boat soon. He watched her leave the next day in a helicopter. A few days later, Jay and Oscar talked about Naomi, who they hadn't heard from for a while. (Breakout) A few days later, Oscar talked with Murphy about Naomi's disappearance, but Murphy said that the captain wasn't worried about her. (The Call) A week later, Oscar was talking with Murphy, while attempting to fix the engines. Together, they decided to take the zodiac raft out to get to the Island, to save Faith and Murphy's family members. However, they were stopped by the captain, when they attempted to leave. He beat them in an attempt to keep them on the boat. (Jealousy) The next day, Oscar encountered Sayid and Desmond on the boat. Desmond asked Oscar if his eyes was okay. Two days later, Oscar watched as Keamy killed Ray and Gault and then flew to the Island. (...In Time)

Later, one day, Murphy found Oscar and told him about five survivors arriving on the boat. Oscar ran to the deck to see if one of them was Faith. However, after arriving at the deck, he saw Kevin Johnson wheel a tank of liquid nitrogen down the hall. (...In Time) Oscar followed him, casually, and saw the bomb in one of the rooms. Oscar ran back out to the deck and breathed heavily for a few moments. The boat pilot, Nathan Hendricks, found him on the deck and they each expressed a feeling of shock about what had happened in the past day. Then Nathan left to go back to the bridge. Some time later, Oscar saw a helicopter landing on the freighter. At that moment, he saw Nathan run onto the deck with Faith and another woman. Oscar ran over to Faith and tried to convince her to flee the boat with her, but she wouldn't, so Oscar put on a life jacket and began swimming to the Island, but not before writing a note on his hand to keep swimming, no matter what happened. After swimming for a little while, he heard the explosion from the freighter. Suddenly, he found himself unstuck in time, since he went to the Island on the wrong bearing. (A Second Chance)

On the IslandEdit

Oscar jumped back in time to his first date with Faith. Soon after, he jumped back and found himself in the ocean, a day before leaving the boat. Upon reading the message he'd written on his hand, he began swimming again. After swimming for a bit, he jumped again. After taking Faith home, he jumped forward again. This time he began swimming faster. As he approached the Island, he saw Faith talking to a man. Seeing Faith stabilized his consciousness. He walked through the jungle for a while and spent the night there. The next day, he found himself at the beach again and heard Elliot and Lisa talking. Then he saw the zodiac raft leaving with Faith. He stayed in the jungle for a while, wishing he could have saved Faith. Later that day, while he was lost in his thoughts, the sky lit up. (A Second Chance)

Season 5Edit

After the light cleared, Oscar found himself in the rain. After walking through the jungle for a bit, Oscar saw a plane crash. He ran over to look at the plane and saw a man getting shot. Just before another man killed him, the sky lit up again. When the light cleared, it was night and Oscar saw someone nearby with a torch. The sky lit up again before long. After the light cleared, Oscar kept walking through the jungle. Eventually, he saw a man holding Faraday at gunpoint. Just then, the sky lit up again. After the light cleared, Oscar wandered through the jungle more and he overheard some people talking. That night, he saw flaming arrows in the sky. (A Second Chance)

The next morning, Oscar came across Janelle, Dexter, Elliot, and Larry in the jungle and told them he was Faith's boyfriend. Dexter told his friends not to relax, because Oscar was a murderer. (The Inconstant) Oscar admitted to being a murderer and warned the survivors about going to the creek. Instead, the group headed towards the caves. The sky lit up, some time later. After the light cleared, Larry expressed opposition in going to the caves, in case it was after they'd arrived on the Island, in order to avoid an argument between Janelle and Larry, Dexter asked Oscar how he got to the Island. (A Second Chance) Oscar told Dexter that he had been on the freighter and had swam to the Island after seeing the bomb. Soon after, he saw Boone in the beechcraft yelling to Locke. Soon after, he saw Elliot and Larry go into the Pearl Station. Soon after they came back out, the sky lit up. (Reading Lips)

Oscar waited in the clearing by the Pearl Station while Dexter and Janelle looked around. Soon after, the sky lit up again. (A Second Chance) Soon after the light cleared, Oscar heard a noise nearby. (A Second Chance) He went with Larry and Elliot to find out what it was. They found Dexter's dying body surrounded by Susan, Nancy, Marc, Ariel, Janelle, and Peter in the jungle. Later, after Ryder, Howard, and Zander found them, Ryder, Elliot, and Ariel planned to go to the beach, get Dawn, and get her off the Island. Oscar volunteered to go with them. (Family Matters)

They arrived at the beach the next morning and Ariel passed out. (Twenty-Six Years) Shortly after, Oscar urged the group to hurry to get Dawn off the Island. Later, after the group was scared into the jungle by some men in DHARMA uniforms, Oscar ended up with Ariel, Ryder, and Eli. (Conditional) After Elliot, Dieter, and Chris found them, Oscar ran ahead and found the bottom of the cliff by the lagoon, as some DHARMA gunmen arrived. He noticed one of the gunmen aiming at Dawn. Oscar tackled him, taking them both into the water. (The Dreamer) After surfacing, Oscar recognized the eyes of the man he'd tackled from his nightmares. Just then, the sky lit up. After the light cleared, Oscar swam to the shore and he saw the boat sailing away. After he got out of the water, the sky lit up again. After the light cleared, Oscar sat on the shore for a moment, composing himself, but it wasn't long before the sky lit up again. After the light cleared, Oscar stood up, determined not to be scared of the man he'd seen. Just then, the sky lit up and the ground shook. (...In Time)

After the light cleared, Oscar made his way to the top of the cliff, where he told Ryder that he'd saved Dawn. The night after being stabilized in time, they made camp in the jungle. Oscar kept watch with Elliot. (The Dreamer) Later that day, Oscar's group decided that they had to find the rest of their people. Oscar mocked their dedication. Soon after, Howard found them. Suddenly, Eli was shot by an unknown gunman, forcing the group to scatter. Oscar ran off with Elliot, and Dieter. They found Lance, Zander, and Nancy at the beach across from the Hydra Island. (Tales from the Tail) About a week later, the group was scared away from the beach by a group of DHARMA employees. In fleeing the beach, Oscar ended up with Lance and Nancy. (The Angel) A few days later, Oscar, Nancy, and Lance were found by Larry, who was on his way back from the Arrow Station. He told them about the lie they'd put together to get into DHARMA and then he took them to the Barracks. Two days later, he met with his fellow time travelers to discuss finding the rest of their people. (That's a Maybe) About two weeks later, on their way to the Pearl Station, Elliot asked Oscar why he came to the Island, but Oscar got defensive about it. Later that day, Oscar apologized for getting upset. (A Second Chance)

About a year later, Oscar ate breakfast with Larry and Eli when they saw Tyson and Paul at the cafeteria. As a result of questions asked, Eli told Larry and Oscar the truth about the Phoenix Project. A year later, while having breakfast with Chris and Ryder, Oscar helped decide to record a video for their friends in the future. Later that day, Oscar got permission from Tyson to leave the Island to visit "a friend". (...In Time) They next day, while recording the video for their friends in the future, Oscar expressed his hope that they would find it, or else they were talking to no one. (Time Capsule) The next day, he left the Island with Tyson.(...In Time)

Off the IslandEdit

After arriving in Michigan with Tyson, Oscar headed to Chicago, where he saw the young Faith Harrington with her family. After not willing himself to see more of her, he headed to Miami where he was to meet up with Tyson. However, when he arrived in Miami, at the home Tyson told him to come to, he discovered that Tyson was his father. (...In Time)

The next day, after Tyson had left his mother alone, Oscar went to her house and told her that he was her son, from the future, and that Tyson was a monster. Before they could properly finish the conversation, Tyson returned and Oscar was rushed out of the house by his mother. From outside, Oscar saw his mother confront Tyson about the Phoenix Project. Subsequently, she was shot by Tyson. Upset, Oscar left and, the next day, he left for the Island with Tyson. (...In Time)

On the IslandEdit

One day, about a year later, Oscar talked to Elliot about what had happened off the Island. Oscar told Elliot that he planned to kill Tyson one day, because of what he did to his mother. (...In Time) Later that day, Oscar saw Jin arrive at the infirmary to talk to Sawyer. He saw Juliet exit the infirmary soon after. (Heroes) At night, a day later, Oscar saw young Ben taking a sandwich to the security building for a prisoner. He couldn't understand why Widmore had sent mercenaries to the Island to capture Ben, who Oscar viewed as a sweet kid, at the time. (Brothers in Arms) A day and a half later, Janelle asked Oscar if he'd seen Chris. Oscar pointed her in the right direction and asked her how she was doing, concerning Larry's recent death, and Janelle said she was doing better. That night, Oscar helped unload supplies from the submarine and he saw that Daniel Faraday had returned. (Burning Heart)

The next morning, Oscar met with Janelle, Elliot, and Ariel and prepared to leave the Barracks. Oscar left with Ariel and Elliot, while Janelle stayed behind to find Chris and Jeff. On his way out of the Barracks, Oscar saw a gunfight. Later that day, they found themselves by the Hostiles' camp and saw Daniel Faraday get shot by his mother. As they prepared to leave, Marc showed up, pointing a gun at them. (The Day After Tomorrow) Almost at that moment, Oscar, Ariel, and Elliot were saved by Josh and Austin. After talking to them for a little bit, Oscar noticed more shooters arriving. (The Kite Runner) Shortly after ducking behind some bushes, the shooters found them, but they were soon rescued by Howard, Zander, Susan, Ryder, and Peter, but Josh was killed in the process. Soon after, the group found the Swan construction site and encountered Chris, Janelle, Simon, Morris, Sally, Steve, Robert, Bob, and Jake. Just then, Micah showed up with some gunmen, who were killed by the survivors, but not before killing Robert and Austin. During the fight, Oscar realized that Micah had disappeared.
