(Oceanic Flight 815 crashes on the Island)
His Childhood
Edit
When Jeff was eight-years-old his parents got divorced. During the divorce, Jeff's dad argued to try to take Jeff with him, but ended up failing. Instead, Jeff went to live with his mom and her boyfriend. (The Angel) A few months later, his dad was in a plane that crashed near the Island. His dad died on the Island a couple months later. (Twenty-Six Years)
Teenage Years
Edit
When Jeff was sixteen-years-old, he came home one day to hear his step-father, Duncan, abusing his mother. It tore him up inside. That night, he packed up his belongings and left the Island of Aaran forever. (The Angel)
Life as an Artist
Edit
While on the lecture tour in Australia, he met one of his viewers who happened to be Tracy. (Vacation) One morning, after waking up with Brenda, the gallery owner, Jeff recalled Savannah saying that he wouldn't live a day in his life without thinking about her. He told the story to Brenda, who suggested that he contact her, but he figured she wouldn't talk to him. (The Angel)

Season 3 (Days 78-89)
Edit
Jeff played ping-pong against Doug. (Crime Scene) About two weeks later, Dexter excitedly told Jeff about Naomi's arrival. Not sure how he felt about leaving the Island, Jeff saw a vision of Savannah, who told him not to go with Locke. Then she disappeared, leaving Jeff confused. (The Angel)
Season 4 (Days 91-100)
Edit
During the argument between Locke and Jack at the cockpit, Jeff remembered what Savannah had told him. As a result, he went with Jack during the split. (The Angel) Four days later, Jeff sat on the beach and Verena sat down next to him. They wished each other a Merry Christmas. Jeff told Verena that he didn't want to leave the Island and he only went with Jack because he saw something the day he heard about Naomi. As he was about to tell Verena what he saw, Lance told them that Kate had just returned from Locke's camp. (Home Sweet Home) The next day, Jeff talked with Janelle, George, Amon, and Dexter about why they went with Jack. When it came for him to explain his reason, he got nervous because he thought they would call him crazy. Fortunately, the group got distracted by Sun going into Juliet's tent. (In Your Dreams) The next day, Jeff saw Ray's body wash up on shore. (Class Newsletter) Three days later, Jeff saw Sayid arrive in the zodiac raft. (Membata)
Season 5
Edit
After four flashes of light, Janelle started to panic because of the time flashes. Jeff tried to calm her down. Chris agreed with Jeff's calm attitude, but Lance got angry at him. Later that night, Jeff fled the beach in fear as they were attacked by flaming arrows. (Just Survive) After getting away from the beach, Jeff ended up with Miles, Lance, Faraday, and Charlotte. After arriving at the creek, Jeff and Lance triggered claymore bombs, killing them. Some time later, Andrew injected his blood into their systems, reviving them. (Faulty Memory) Three flashes of light later, after the light cleared, Andrew began rushing Jeff and Lance through the jungle. Eventually, they found Dexter's dead body, surrounded by Larry, Elliot, Janelle, and some others. (Family Matters) The next morning, the group heard the monster. In panic, Jeff ran off with Janelle and Larry. (Conditional) After several more flashes, Jeff, Larry, and Janelle ran into Lance, Zander, and Nancy. Together, the group of six saw a gigantic statue above the trees. Just then, the ground began to shake and the sky lit up. (The Dreamer)
A week after the flashes ended, Jeff suggested that they split up in order to find their people. He went off with Janelle and Larry. (Tales from the Tail) A few days later, Jeff, Larry, and Janelle heard one Hostile talking to another Hostile about a body they'd taken from DHARMA. (Wonderwall) A few days later, Jeff, Larry, and Janelle were tranquilized by some DHARMA shooters. Jeff, Janelle, and Larry woke up in a dark room near a man they didn't know. The man explained that he had also been on Flight 815. Together they formed a plan they used to join DHARMA and secure a place in the DHARMA Initiative for their friends when they found them. The next morning, Jeff prepared to go to work with DHARMA. After leaving the house, he saw Chris, who had joined DHARMA about a week before. That night, he went to Chris and Ryder's house to explain their situation to them. The next day, Jeff visited Ariel, Ryder's mother-in-law, who told him of her plane crash and one man in particular she knew from the crash. She told Jeff that this man had not wanted to leave his son behind in his divorce. Finally, she revealed that the man she was talking about was Jeff's dad. (The Angel) A few days later, Jeff met with his fellow time travelers to discuss finding the rest of their people. (That's a Maybe) About two weeks later, Jeff arrived at Eli's room at their house to find that Eli had just woken up. Jeff noticed Eli was upset, but Eli passed it off. (A Second Chance)
About a year after joining DHARMA, Micah talked to Jeff and offered to let them stay with DHARMA indefinitely. (Heroes) A year later, while recording a video for their friends in the future, Jeff noted that none of their people had died since they left. (Time Capsule)
A year later, Jeff went to the processing center to welcome the new recruits with Lance, Nancy, and Dieter. (Brothers in Arms) The next day, after an incident involving a flaming van, Jeff heard Hurley talking to Jack about Horace's speech. Jeff found it slightly amusing when Jack spoke up during Horace's speech, since Jack was a mere janitor amid DHARMA and Horace was the leader. A day later, Jeff helped unload supplies from the submarine. (Burning Heart) The next morning, Jeff realized that Eli hadn't come home. He went outside and was met my Tyson Stanford, who had a gunshot wound. Tyson asked him to come into his house. After entering the house, Tyson knocked Jeff out. While he was unconscious, Tyson tied Jeff up. Later that day, Jeff woke up and saw Tyson talking to Micah, asking for permission to reprimand Jeff's friends. Micah agreed, but told Tyson to first have Vernon put Jeff in the extra cell of the Phoenix Project. (The Day After Tomorrow)
Later that day, Jeff woke up in his cell when Vernon opened the door. Vernon proceeded to beat Jeff to get answers about why Eli claimed to know about the Phoenix Project. Jeff gave him no answers and was finally saved, for the moment, by Paul Stevens. Vernon and Paul left the room, leaving Jeff bleeding from his beating. Soon after, Jeff saw Dieter with Tyson as they went through Dieter's orientation to the Phoenix Project. (The Kite Runner) Later that day, Dieter returned to his cell and released him, letting him escape with Andrew. The two ran to the sonic fence, and saw Eli's body near one of the pylons. Not long after getting to the other side of the fence, with the code that Dieter gave them, Jeff was shot. Andrew tried to get some of his own blood into Jeff, but was captured before he was able to do so. (Tuck Everlasting)
Post-Death
Edit
Years after Jeff's death, Andrew told Jessica that Jeff was among those who had died after traveling back in time. (Tuck Everlasting)
