This information is treated specially by Lostpedia.

Motivation
Many fans, despite the fact that such information has been released for them to enjoy, believe that promotional material takes away from their viewing experience, and do not want to see promotional material until the relevant episode has aired. Lostpedia will do its best to reasonably respect that wish.
Policy
- Any and all promotional material relevant to future episodes can be placed and discussed in these pages and these pages only:
- Once the relevant episode has aired, promotional material for that episode may be placed anywhere on the wiki.
- Unless otherwise stated below, promotional material may not be placed on the wiki except in the locations specified above.
- Promotional Material may be discussed on user blogs, user pages and user subpages so long as:
A. The promotional material is clearly identified as being promotional material.
B. Previews are not linked or embedded in the post.
C. If promotional material is discussed in a user blog, the title of the post must not contain promotional material.
- Episodes split into different parts are treated as one episode for the purposes of this policy, regardless of how they air. Separate pages will remain, when deemed appropriate.
- Episodes airing on the same night that are separate episodes will both be treated as the immediately upcoming episode, yet still have separate articles.
Names of Future Episodes
Unless otherwise stated below, the names of all future episode titles should be hidden under "Episode XX" (For example: "The Constant" would have been hidden under Episode 05 .)
The name of the immediately upcoming episode may be placed in these locations:
- Next Time on Lost (Not hidden, immediately upcoming episode only)
The names of all upcoming episodes announced by ABC Medianet may be placed in these locations only:
- The appropriate Template:Ep and Template:Crossref pages. (The title of the immediately upcoming episode will not be hidden, subsequent episodes will be.)
- The appropriate Season Nav Box. The navbox shall be made collapsible. (All titles will be shown. Future titles will be in a collapsible navbox within the whole navbox.) (See here.)
- The episode articles (All titles will be shown)
- Portal:Episodes (The title of the immediately upcoming episode will not be hidden, subsequent episodes will be.)
- Season 6 (The title of the immediately upcoming episode will not be hidden, subsequent episodes will be.)
- Airdates (The title of the immediately upcoming episode will not be hidden, subsequent episodes will be.)
Examples of this may be found here.

Press Releases may be transcribed and put in the appropriate ABC Medianet/... Articles, when they are released. They also may be linked in the apporpriate episode articles.
Pages for upcoming episodes
Pages for all upcoming episodes shall be created, named as Season X, Episode Y and be locked. Once a press release for the episode is released the page shall be retitled with the name of the episode. The former Season X, Episode Y pages will redirect. The pages shall remain locked until the episode has aired.
The page for an upcoming episode may contain this content until the press release for the episode comes out:
- The Season Navbox
