Celebok/Season 6 checklist
< Celebok
This page contains a checklist of my predictions of things to be revealed in Season 6. Some of these statements are based on theories that I've formed over the past several months, while some are simply my best guesses for mysteries that I'd like to see answered in this final season. After each episode airs, I will update the status of any predictions in this checklist that are confirmed either true or false in the most current episode.
The theories and predictions listed on this page were formed before the Season 6 premiere date and are not based on any known spoilers of Season 6 material. Any resemblance to existing spoiler information or information revealed during the course of Season 6 is purely coincidental and/or the result of accurate guessing.

- The smoke monster has been on the Island for longer than the Black Rock.
- Status: True ("Ab Aeterno")
- The smoke monster was created/born on the Island.
- Status: True ("Across the Sea")
- The Others, as a society, formed after the arrival of the Black Rock.
- Status: True ("Ab Aeterno")
- The Others know the Island's official name, but it is one of the secrets they are protecting, so they will always refer to it as "The Island" in front of outsiders.
- Status: False ("The End")
- Richard Alpert arrived on the Island on the Black Rock.
- Status: True ("Ab Aeterno")
- The decision for the Others to move into the Barracks after the Purge was entirely initiated by Ben, but accepted by the Others because the leader gets to choose the lifestyle of the Others.
- Status: Unaddressed
- Ryan Pryce, Danny and Colleen Pickett, and Bea Klugh were all recruited from the real world by Ben for specific purposes.
- Status: Unaddressed
- Tom Friendly was a member of the DHARMA Initiative and joined the Others in order to survive the Purge.
- Status: Unaddressed
- Mikhail Bakunin was a member of the DHARMA Initiative and joined the Others in order to survive the Purge.
- Status: Unaddressed
- The whispers are, but not limited to, an involuntary side effect of the Others' presence.
- Status: False ("Everybody Loves Hugo") ("The End")
- Accelerated natural healing (not to be confused with miraculous healing) is a naturally-occurring by-product of the Island's unique electromagnetic energy.
- Status: Probable ("The End")
- The miraculous healing that happened for Locke (paralysis), Rose (cancer), and Jin (sterility) was caused by Jacob's Nemesis.
- Status: Unaddressed
- The pregnancy problem on the Island, which Juliet was brought to the Island to try to fix, was caused by the Jughead detonation triggered by Juliet. (irony)
- Status: False (The New Man in Charge)
- Status: Unaddressed
- The timeline cannot be changed; whatever happened happened.
- Status: True ("The End")
- Jack's failure to change history after the Jughead bomb explodes turns Eloise Hawking into a believer of "course-correction" and the concept that it's better to try to fulfill destiny than to try to change it.
- Status: Unaddressed ("The End")
- The detonation of Jughead temporarily negates the electromagnetic energy that has been released during the Incident, saving the Island and the rest of the world from destruction, and gives the DHARMA scientists just enough time to finish building the Swan station to implement the button protocol. Pushing the button produces the same effect as the Jughead bomb, but is much smaller and only negates 108 minutes worth of electromagnetic buildup.
- Status: Unaddressed ("The End")
- Juliet dies in the Jughead explosion.
- Status: False ("LA X, Part 1")
- The Jughead explosion causes Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Hurley, Sayid and Jin (those who were touched by Jacob) to be transported to 2007, after the moment when Ben stabs Jacob. This is why Richard thinks he saw them all die.
- Status: True ("LA X, Part 1")
- Jacob's "they're coming" statement refers to some or all of Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Hurley, Sayid and Jin.
- Status: Probable ("The Substitute")
- Miles stays in 1977 and takes care of Pierre Chang, whose arm will have to be amputated.
- Status: False ("LA X, Part 1")
- Adam and Eve are Amelia Earhart and her co-pilot.
- Status: False ("Across the Sea")
- The Christian Shephard who appears on the Island is a manifestation of the smoke monster and a tool of Jacob's Nemesis.
- Status: True ("The Last Recruit")
- The "sickness" that infected Danielle Rousseau's team was a result of the smoke monster turning them into agents of Jacob's Nemesis inside the Temple.
- Status: Probable ("What Kate Does")
- Claire has been transformed into a tool of Jacob's Nemesis, after being lured by the appearance of Christian Shephard.
- Status: True ("Lighthouse")
- The guitar case that Hurley has been carrying contains a guitar.
- Status: False ("LA X, Part 2")
- The DHARMA Initiative did not know that they built their houses above the ancient tunnels. Ben built his secret door after the Others moved into the barracks.
- Status: Probable ("What They Died For")
- Jacob ordered the supply drop that provided food and supplies to the Losties in November 2004.
- Status: False (The New Man in Charge)
- The DHARMA Initiative, and specifically the team who built and worked at the Lamp Post station, had access to intelligence gathered by the U.S. Army about the Island in the 1950's.
- Status: Unaddressed
- Sometime shortly after arriving in 2007, some or all of Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sawyer, Sayid and Jin will be rowing an outrigger canoe and chasing and shooting at another outrigger, not realizing that it's Sawyer's time-travelling group.
- Status: False ("The End")
- The Temple will heal Sayid's gunshot wound inflicted by Roger Linus, just like it healed young Ben's gunshot wound inflicted by Sayid. (irony)
- Status: True ("LA X, Part 2")
- Kate will end up with Jack.
- Status: True ("The End")
- Sawyer will sacrifice himself for Kate.
- Status: False ("The End")
- Sayid will sacrifice himself for everyone else.
- Status: True ("The Candidate")
