Thomas was Claire's boyfriend, and the biological father of Aaron. He lives in Australia, and is a fan of the Brisbane Broncos ("Glory Years" 1992-2000 poster). He is an artist. One of his paintings appeared in Charles Widmore's office ("Flashes Before Your Eyes").

After the initial shock of the pregnancy, he became enthusiastic about having the child with Claire. However, he later left Claire several months into her pregnancy after an argument with her. He said that he had thought she was on the pill and insinuated that she got pregnant intentionally.

Several paintings are visible in Thomas' apartment and studio in "Raised by Another". Fans have noted that the styles of the paintings are very similar to that of the Mural in the Swan station, also known as the "Hatch Painting" (see left).[1]

In the storyline, Desmond painted the Swan's mural. However in real life, Lost executive producer Jack Bender is known to have painted the Swan mural, and according to the official Lost podcast [source needed], he also paints nearly all, if not all, of the paintings for the sets. Thus the similarities.

One of the paintings in the apartment from "Raised by Another" is later visible in the office of Charles Widmore in "Flashes Before Your Eyes". Another painting that seems to be painted by Thomas is seen in Charles's apartment in "The Shape of Things to Come". The significance of this connection of Thomas to Charles Widmore is unknown.
