The string of numbers quoted on Persephone's webpage from May 5th was changed to:

Converting this from decimal numbers into ASCII characters, using an online converter gave the textual string:
HAS WIN HOST PC IN NIL URGE. 8, not 1 and 6.
There have been many different anagrams from this message, such as:
WHO IS RUNNING THIS PLACE. 8, not 1 and 6 SIGN IN WITH HANSO PR CLUE. 8, not 1 and 6. CHRISTIAN HELPING US NOW. 8, not 1 and 6. LOGIN HUNCH WAS PRISTINE. 8, not 1 and 6. LOGIN HUNCH WAS INEPT SIR. 8, not 1 and 6.
The 8 not 1 and 6 was most likely to clarify confusion stating 8 May, rather than 1 May or 6 May as previously decoded by the May 5th clue. E-mail that was sent to the email address on the May 5th press release used to just bounce, however people did reportedly begin to start getting replies from this address.
The Day in Summary
- The May 5th press release code was changed, and when decoded stated that the date that "Login at THF.org is safe" was for the 8th, not the 6th or 1st as previously believed.
