Tape recorder

Juliet and Ben arranged for her to communicate with him using a tape recorder, hidden in one of the lockers at the Staff station. After helping Sun determine the father of her baby, Juliet secretly left her message. ("D.O.C.")
Ben was later shown playing the message at his tent, showing that he somehow retrieved the recording. He listened to Juliet's information as Locke came to see him. Locke seemingly noted where Ben put the recorder (in a drawer) and later stole it. He gave it to Sawyer, providing proof for his claim that Juliet is a spy at beach camp working for Ben. Sawyer took the tape recorder with him as he headed back to the beach. ("The Brig")
There, he revealed the truth to the camp, but Juliet defended herself by revealing she'd already told Jack. She instructs Sawyer to turn the tape over, and when he does so, a second message can be heard, this time by Ben. ("The Man Behind the Curtain")
