Has anyone noticed that Charlie is singing Wonderwall in two different episodes followed by a rain storm? In one episode Time-Traveling Desmond confronts Charlie. In another he doesn't. I have a theory relating to parallel worlds but could not find a Parallel world article here in Lostpedia. As I have been re-watching all the old episodes I am seeing hints here and there that there could be at least two parallel worlds playing out in the Lost timeline. When Daniel talks to Desmond outside Oxford he asks why his future self doesn't remember the meeting. Desmond doesn't know. In season 5 with the time jumping; it's odd that Jin meets Rosseaux and yet she doesn't remember him 16 years later. Also...Desmond meets Eloise when he time jumps and she tells him that "he's not supposed to buy the ring" ... but how would she know? Unless she too is time traveling. Perhaps Desmond and Eloise are capable of having their conciousness travel between the two dimensions. And perhaps the two dimensions affect each other. The two dimensions would appear to be almost identical in "what happens" except in one people like Desmond and Eloise are aware of the future and in another they are perhaps unaware. Perhaps the incident created by the nucleaur reactor is not to change the future but to erase one universe or possibly merge the two. The white flash at the end of season 5 is like the time jump flashes. Sorry for the rambles but I have been rewatching the entire series and picking up on things and perhaps I'm having some false epiphanies but I just wanted to share my thoughts with the group.
