  • Actually, that's not correct (I was around when the list was made and contributed to it). The list of websites, including fake websites, was made for cateloguing purposes. At the time, the consensus was (and continues to be, to my knowledge) that all fake websites get a page where they are clearly labeled as noncanon. This is not to say that a consensus can't change, but this needs to be made on a *group* basis, as it would affect close to 50 articles on this site (see the list here), which would be deleted. I personally was not a fan initially of fake websites getting their own pages, but I understand the logic more now (that users that look up the website will understand that they are fake and noncanon clearly). Please see the talk page for that category, which I'm reopening, if people would like to change the standard rule for dealing with these now (I personally don't feel strongly either way, so long as we are consistent about it). --PandoraX 17:34, 22 November 2006 (PST)
