- should be on the bottom of the page from everything I've seen else where on the site, discuss?

- I now agree with the placement after looking at more of the other transcript pages. 14:04, 17 May 2007 (PDT)
okay, so i am going to punt and say that these things could very well be the key to cracking the secrets of the show wide open! Is there any ongoing further analysis happening with these? Because, I think if the authors of these quotes was known it could shed a LOT of light on the background hoo ha that is happening on LOST. --Frenkmelk 11:52, 27 June 2007 (PDT)
- I don't know that the whispers are going to be even any sort of a key but I do love the suggestion of insight that they give. I think we've all watched Lost and obsessed about the minutia enough to recognize that the whispers can't be insignificant. I think they are more like the ARGs. They are a fun little plot twist that gives those of us willing to dig a little more info (and even more questions!!) then we get from the main plot. They matter and develop the story on a new level but I don't think they will result in the Ultimate Answers to anything, just a new perspective on everything. --Lanie 23:03, 6 March 2008 (PST)
sneak peak whispers?
Has anyone been able to figure out what the whispers are saying in the sneak peak with Hurley from Season 4, Epsiode 1?
The Other Woman
Has anyone been able to disect the whispers from "The Other Woman" yet? -- 18:47, 11 March 2008 (PDT)
Lost: Via Domus Whispers
The Orchid Orientation video
I didnt see a transcript for the orientation video, watching it back just made me realise there are alot of whispers in there and they are quite clear also. Mad props to whoever puts in the time and effort to decode the whispers, they reveal alot more than any other part of the show I think any definetly gets the imagination running - thanks!
Transcript sharing, please?
I, like so many others, lack both the software and technical savvy to interperate the whispers. I do have the googling ability to, eventually, find them on other forums but I nearly erased half of this section trying to post the results for "The Other Woman" (thanks to the founder for fixing that and keeping my update!).
What makes sites like this so great is that we can easily find bits of info here that others are willing to share and post our own tidbits all quite easily. We don't have to sift through 16 thousand forum threads only to find arguements about something completely unrelated.
I'm good for random bits of pure science and math as well as art and history and have helped with entries in each of those areas here. I do so because it's fun for me to share.
I can't translate the whispers without help and am not cyber-friendly enough to get into the forum cliques. There are multitudes of Lost addicts like me feeling like we are somehow uncool enough to get to share your know-how even when we do try by sharing what little we know.
There are episodes worth of whispers to be translated in a more public domain. What is the point of a wiki like this if such info won't be shared?
Should an unanswered questions heading be added to this page? There are several obvious ones, such as "who do these voices belong to," and could spur the creation of content on the theories page, which is currently empty. --Phantomrhiannon 05:26, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Shouldn't there be a 'fanon alert' warning here or something? I've listened to the whispers in individual channels and I don't hear half of what they're claiming is said. Most likely the person transcribing these figured out something that it sounds like, and picked the closest approximation. That by no means makes these whispers a valid source of information. There's been no official backup on whether the transcriptions are correct, and using closed captions is by no means official either. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Gutsdozer (talk • contribs) .
deleted stuff and new clips
The transcript while ben is being interrogated is missing. Also, the one before eko dies. perhaps others as well? Ok, so anyone who wants to help transcribe whispers from seasons 4 and 5 i've made clips of them with various edits to hear them better. Check them out at these 2 links:
Downloading as we speak and will try to do what I can with the audio. Thanks for making the clips. --Manix 14:52, April 14, 2010 (UTC)
Pure speculation and theory
I think this transcripts are just pure speculation and theories based on "I want to hear this"...sincerely, I can't hear almost none of those things. Sure, there are some things that might be true but the majority of them are just...made up...ex: The Charlotte Malkin Autopsy Tape transcript says "let John Locke go"??? and there are no whispers!--Loganmac 17:38, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
This article really needs a big "CITATION NEEDED" across the page, a transcript should be sourced with official material, if not this is just an interpretation. Honestly I could go ahead and add my interpretation as well, but I wouldn't do that because this is an encyclopedia. We should really delete all the speculation and only leave in there really obvious phrases (like "It'll come back around"), but some of them are way invented. "Sarah" is heard many times because it has an "S" and when whispering, the S sounds louder, the people who did this thought of words with S and they just put in there Sarah because they wanted. I've heard their MP3 files and they don't say half of that stuff, even if they do, we can't be completely sure. We should put a header or something that indicates that this isn't official, just an interpretation from "guys with audio equipment" (they only have Cubase or the likes), because some people are posting theories thinking this is official. Please discuss in here.
