Talk:Unofficial podcasts

From Lostpedia

Contents

Main articles

  • Note that The Transmission has a main article in Ryan Ozawa. IMHO I'm thinking that perhaps one or two more podcasts similarly merit their own articles. For one, Jay and Jack, given their press coverage in the traditional media, as well as the fact that we have their Hugo Cup on our front page portal. -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk  13:56, 26 March 2007 (PDT)
That is exactly why I came to this talkpage now. I wholeheartedly agree. The more active and famous podcasts, like Jay and Jack and possibly the Dharmalars may merit their own articles, as they have featured Jorge Garcia, etc. -- Sam McPherson  T  C  E  12:11, 11 March 2008 (PDT)

Rename

  • Speedy decision due to precedent of a current policy: No rename. NOTE: Information about unofficial podcasts in general indeed may be included in this article. Just add it to the top section, and if needs to be reorganized, we can deal with that later. So if you have said content ready to go, please add it immediately. These changes in the overall purpose and hierarchical organization of the article is EXACTLY what the AAA is all about. We're not limiting ourselves to filling in existing holes (e.g. "busy work") , but are also considering reworking the entire concept. -- Contrib¯ _Santa_ ¯  Talk  20:36, 27 March 2007 (PDT)
Okay, in that case I'm all for no-rename.   Hooper   talk    contribs    email   20:44, 27 March 2007 (PDT)

Layout Change

I was thinking. What if we sub-categorize this page. Meaning: Take the alphabetical list and then break it up into the types of podcast. So we have a list of episode-centric discussions, then a list of theory speculation, etc. etc. I don't know, could work. Something to clean it up a bit.   Hooper   talk    contribs    email   08:26, 28 March 2007 (PDT)

no seems a bit....unnecessary CerRbErUs. 11:43, 28 March 2007 (PDT)

Lost Sucks Podcast

I removed it because it appeared twice. It is now called "Cranky Fanatic" and the links went to the same podcast. congested 20:55, 5 April 2007 (PDT)

Reorganizing Article

  • I would like to suggest that we change this article and seperate the podcasts into two headings, one which is active, while the other is inactive so that people can easily distinguish which our dead and which still spew out weekly podcast. This could help make the page a bit more organized instead of just a list.--JinxTalk Contribs 01:37, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
