Theories Edit

The first impression that I got from The Others due to Mr. Friendly's vile beard and their raggedy clothing was that they were nothing more than a bunch of jungle dwellers living in a hut somewhere, which I believe is the idea behind the disguises in the first place. One would not think someone is methodical and scientific if they wear torn clothes and have a pirate beard. That seems to be so. That's why I think that "The Project" is still going on and that the survivors are actually the guinea pigs in this whole experiment. Who knows, how much about the island is staged (The hatch?). What baffles me is the look of the Medical Station (it looks ransacked) and why they left behind their disguises? It seems more and more likely that there's atleast a third faction (other than The Others or The Survivors) within the island, maybe The Whisperers, from what I gather of the whisper transcripts, they don't sound 'Othery'. --skks 11:31, 7 March 2006 (PST)
