Forbidden Planet?

"Forbidden Planet" (1956) is a particular version of "The Tempest" which would explain many if not all the "cons" of this theory. Source:[1]--Ciberpunk 10:33, 23 July 2006 (PDT)

I've arrived at the same conclusion independently. Forbidden Planet, with a "magic box" that conjures whatever you imagine, even "monsters from the Id", has many parallels with the mechanics of what seems to be happening on the island. --fatcatfan 10:04, 10 May 2007 (PDT)
