Talk:The Line

There is no need to put spoiler warnings in the individual articles. The entire Lostpedia site is potentially a spoiler. Jabberwock talk contribs email - 12:25, 6 April 2006 (PDT)
- No problem. What I put there is based on next week's previews, so it shouldn't be a spoiler to anyone who watched the last episode. --Uth 12:28, 6 April 2006 (PDT)
Location of The Line unimportant?
Edit
From what I can tell based off of this past week's episode, the encounter between the Losties and the Others just kind of happened. It was not as if the Others allowed the group to walk as far as a specific point on the island and then confronted them. Which would mean that there is not really a Line in the Sand, so to speak, just more of a general idea of a "Don't go too far north, otherwise you're in our territory." So when Jack and Kate decided to go to the place of the encounter, and tried, in vain, to get in touch with the Others, I was not surprised that they didn't get any response, because it's not like the Other's hang out at that one spot, guarding the border or something. Anyone have any thoughts?
- That's an interesting theory, but how do we know the point wasn't specifically chosen by the others? They could have moved michael and Kate there before confronting the hunting party. We also didn't see Michael leave the others' camp. They may have directed him to the line before letting him go. --Ernest 12:53, 19 May 2006 (PDT)
Location of the Line response
Edit
"Comments by Jack seem to indicate that to go to the part of the Island where the tail-section survivors were would involve crossing the line. ("Two for the Road")". Not my original response, just moved from the questions section. Liveweak 18:36, 29 April 2007 (PDT)
