I decided not to put a delete tag here, but I think this page is a little borderline. Isn't this overanalysis of a comic relief cartoon? To Kill a Mockingbird doesn't even have its own page yet. --PandoraX 07:50, 5 November 2006 (PST)

"The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone"--That which was rejected became the key. It relates this cartoon to Locke, who was rejected by Richard Alpert before Ben was taken as the leader--and then Locke finally did become the leader, much as Daffy became the favored son after being rejected by everyone.
