VideoEdit

For now at least, you can see it at DarkUFO. -- Graft   talk   contributions  01:02, 14 November 2007 (PST)

Finally. Great. Thanks a lot.--Mc peko 03:00, 14 November 2007 (PST)

Title Edit

I cannot figure out how to add the title. Perhaps I'm not allowed to.--Mc peko 06:13, 14 November 2007 (PST)

  • Don't worry. Somebody with the right know how will fix the template, I'm sure. --Hunter61 06:48, 14 November 2007 (PST)
  • I'm not sure what to think about the title change. ABC is calling it "Hurley and Frogurt" on their website, but of course it is still titled "The Adventures of Hurley and Frogurt" on the actual video. My inclination is to go with what is on the video, since that is how it left Lindelof and Cuse's hands. Of course we don't know what is going on at the website, but I wonder if they shortened it to fit it better in the little mobisode browser below where the video plays, since there is so little room there. It just seems odd that Lindelof and Cuse would allow that title to be on the video if they didn't mean for it to be the title. So -- go by the mobisode, or go by the website? -- Graft   talk   contributions  19:48, 20 November 2007 (PST)
  • ABC.com is the more reliable source/the source we use. I say that because the mobisodes are ABC productions and once Verizon has the clips ABC cannot change anything about it as it airs on the phones. So if ABC changes the name as they have it will not change on the phone version. The credits for the mobisodes on ABC.com are like a press release for the episode (in this case a mobisode) and the official press release states the title as "Hurley and Frogurt". The original title may have been The Adventures of... but ABC has changed it since and the old title has been noted on the page, which is all that is currently needed. It is like changing something about an episode in a rebroadcast or on a DVD, the original should be noted but if ABC officially changes the name, that is what it is. Keep in mind Carlton is working on producing Lost atm so he may be the one behind the name change. After all there are no adventures in this mobisode, so the new title fits appropriately. -Mr.Leaf 19:59, 20 November 2007 (PST)

Use the full title everywhere please. ABC use a short form. We should not.--Mc peko 12:26, 21 November 2007 (PST)

  • ABC uses the official name which is "Hurley and Frogurt". The name has been changed, please do not re-add "The Adventures of..." as this is no longer part of the name. Following LP policy the official name will be used. Do not change it. -Mr.Leaf 12:47, 21 November 2007 (PST)
  • I think now that we've seen the same thing happen in "Jack Meet Ethan. Ethan? Jack," it's safe to assume that ABC simply truncated the title to fit it on their website. We should use the full title as displayed in the episode.

Reference Edit

I just replaced the "teletubbies" reference, since Froghurt called Hurley "tubby" refering to Lulu's friend, Tubby. --SANAFABICH 07:48, 15 November 2007 (PST)

  • Ow ok, that's a reference that I, as Dutchman, didn't catch ;-) --Hunter61 10:38, 15 November 2007 (PST)
  • That's OK, we learn something new every day ;) --SANAFABICH 03:17, 17 November 2007 (PST)
    • Does "Tubby" have to stand for something? Not really. --Marik7772003 13:47, 17 November 2007 (PST)

RENAME: The Adventures of Hurley and Frogurt Edit

  • In LOST: The Official Magazine #15, the state this webisode as THE ADVENTURES OF HURLEY AND FROGURT. It should be renamed. --CTS 10:07, 23 March 2008 (PDT)
    • Also, Damon Lindelof is a contributor to that magazine, so if that magazine states it as THE ADVENTURES OF HURLEY AND FROGURT and the opening sequence of the webisode does, it should be renamed. ABC.com isn't very up to date on things, and the missing pieces page is messy. It still states "Jin Has a Temper-Tantrum on the Golf Course" as being the next mobisode to come out. --CTS 20:00, 23 March 2008 (PDT)
      • Also, Lostpedia is the ONLY Lost fan website I could find that lists the second webisode as "Hurley and Frogurt" and not "The Adventures of Hurley and Frogurt". If the Official Magazine, the Lost wiki, and others lists the FULL title, this page needs to be changed to add "The Adventures of..." --CTS 20:10, 25 March 2008 (PDT)
  • Rename - The Official Magazine says it is "The Adventures of..." --Phil (talk) 12:29, 4 April 2008 (PDT)
  • Done. I don't know why it wasn't named this in the first place!  Plkrtn  talk  contribs  email  12:46, 4 April 2008 (PDT)
    • It was. see the discussion above --Hunter61 02:01, 5 April 2008 (PDT)
  • Nice. Thanks.--Mc peko 01:57, 5 April 2008 (PDT)
