Talk:Sex

Back to page

Anyone notice that when people have sex on the island, they tend to die? --Kthleen 16:05, 8 May 2006 (PDT)

Yeah, only two of them. Shannon and Ana Lucia... that's too small to form an conclusion. --Nusentinsaino 17:40, 10 May 2006 (EST)

Well...just the women anyway. Sawyer, Sayid, and Jin seem fine. Sun on the other hand is pregnant, which while better than being dead is still a compromised physical condition.  :)Seriously, in an interview with Michael Ausiello at tvguide.com Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse joke that whoever has sex dies, as though the cheap-teenage-slasher-film standard also applies to "Craphole Island". questionEdit

  • is this a list of
  1. who had sex with whom, or
  2. who had sex with whom during the course of an episode?Santa 12:29, 10 May 2006 (PDT)

accuracy?Edit

--How can we be sure of the flashback sex (i.e.- Shannon and Brian, Sawyer and Mary Jo)? We can *assume* that they had sex but as we didn't see part of it or hear one of the characters (such as Shannon say, "gee, when Brian and I had sex...") mention it. In the case of Sawyer and Mary Jo specifically, they were all over each other as they came into the hotel room but as they were rudely interrupted by Hibbs who can say if they ever resumed at a later time? Mary Jo left the room while Sawyer and Hibbs talked so we don't even know if she came back! That's a big assumption that they had sex as the only time we saw them on screen together their trist was broken up by Sawyer's con man informer/boss who claimed that Frank Duckett was the real Sawyer, now residing in Australia. Unless we see it in a flashback or hear characters speaking of it (or making the "thumbs up" sign as lovebirds stumble out of their tent in the morning...hello, Jin and Sun!), how can we definitively say that two characters had sex? Flora 22:33, 10 May 2006 (PDT)Flora

We can't be sure; and unless ABC decides to pay the FCC millions of dollars, they can't show it either :).

Chronolgy Edit

Could someone put this in proper chronological order, some of the encounters are fairly hard to place when they happen. --Blueeagleislander 01:23, 21 March 2007 (PDT)

What do we include here?Edit

  • I keep noticing encounters being added such as Emily Locke and Anthony Cooper; encounters we haven't actually seen. I mean I know they happened, of course, because otherwise Locke wouldn't have been born... but I believe this article should only contain the specific encounters that have been either shown or referenced on the show. --   Lost Soul   talk  contribs  00:35, 24 March 2007 (PDT)
  • I agree with you 100% --Mr. Crabby (Talk) 05:27, 24 March 2007 (PDT)
  • I agree too. Rose and Bernard keep getting added too.--TechNic|talk|conts 16:42, 10 April 2007 (PDT)
Rose and Bernard should be kept. The scene was writen and planned out for them to have sex on the island. And for obvious reasons it was cut and wasn't even filmed although it was planned and this should definitely be noted. -Mr.Leaf 16:55, 10 April 2007 (PDT)
OK, I suppose if there is a clear caveat that it never actually happened then maybe it should stay. But I thought that deleted scenes and such were considered non-canon? It would seem odd to change the policy for this instance, yet enforce it in others.--TechNic|talk|conts 17:06, 10 April 2007 (PDT)
It isn't really a deleted scene. Damon and Carlton just said it was planned in the podcasts. Although i see where you are coming from and I really don't mind either way as long as the reasoning behind it is good.-Mr.Leaf 17:08, 10 April 2007 (PDT)
  • But things like Susan Lloyd and Michael Dawson shouldn't be included. We haven't seen that - I mean, obviously it did happen - but it doesn't fit in with this article, IMO. --   Lost Soul   talk  contribs  01:03, 11 April 2007 (PDT)
  • I don't think the Reyes' should be included. Sex is neither shown nor referenced, it is only implied by Ms Reyes.
  • Maybe a new section is required for "Assumed sexual encounters" then. It can give a list with evidence (EG their kids, or known cut scene), but making it clear that these encounters were never seen on the show.--TechNic|talk|conts 05:35, 16 April 2007 (PDT)
  • I agree with Technic, this is a good idea--Phil (talk) 05:38, 16 April 2007 (PDT)

not enough sex! Edit

there is simply not enough sex on LOST. Imagine, they are around 90 days there and all the people (especially girls) looks ... well ... a little bit nicer than in real world, and all of them are in quite extreme psychical and physical conditions (they are still goin all around the island, escaping from someone, goin somewhere, saving someone...) - I suggest that in the real world, they would be more often having sex in their tents. :) --Running 04:32, 20 May 2007 (PDT)

Perhaps your'e right, but I would prefer that Lost will be the "Lost" it always has been without that much sex    Lash  talk  contribs

Charlie and Claire? Edit

"Charlie and Claire. {While it was apparently cut from an episode, it was discussed in interviews as having happened.}" Does anyone have a link to where this information comes from? Podcast, commentary or what? Jimbo the tubby 23:10, 14 June 2007 (PDT)

Jae Lee and Sun ("The Glass Ballerina") Edit

Hi, I'm new here. I don't want to just jump in with an edit, but noticed that Sun and her lover were shown in bed but aren't on the list.

Michael and Sun Edit

Why aren't they on the list? They clearly have a sexual encounter that nearly results in a kiss in one of the Lost missing pieces videos.

  • I'm going to guess that it's because they never had sex. They almost kissed, but no sex. Perpahs you'd like the page about Kissing? Jimbo the tubby 20:31, 20 February 2008 (PST)

Pictures, re-edit, etc. Edit

The pictures are just sort of thrown everywhere - or at least that's how they seem to me. I know for the mythology people this proposal is going to seem like overkill, but I'd like permission to do a sort of bubble thing for each occurrence, with its own picture? Or no picture? It would at least look like someone didn't just put the page up to shut someone up. --Alilamba 08:57, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Maybe we could do the bubble system, and then organize it by season...? Put it after the list that's already there. That's a useful tool. --Alilamba 08:59, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Ellie and Charles Edit

Did they really have sex (and conceive Daniel) in "The Variable", as it certainly didn't occur during the course of this episode as during the day the events of "The Variable" take place, Alpert confirms she is pregnant, a proof she got impregnated by Charles at least a month or two prior to these events, otherwise they wouldn't have known that she was pregnant. --Orhan94 22:48, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Jack and Juliet Sex? Edit

When was it shown in an episode that Jack and Juliet had sex?? I don't recall. --Dharmafolk 17:17, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

  • Must be referring to their flash-sideways. We shouldn't include this because we never see it. We in fact lack proof it ever happened. They exist in the afterlife having been married and having a son, but never actually married, Juliet never actually gave birth etc. --- Balk Of Fametalk 19:29, July 17, 2010 (UTC)
