Expedition never existed
I had to make a point out of the fact that there still is no way of proving that this expedition ever existed. If that's out of line, feel free to revert my edit. --Noseman 2006 21:42, 11 NOvember 2006 (CET)
Rousseau's a little unstable but I don't think we can really discount the entire science expedition entirely. The producers have talked about it and haven't done their little "...if there was an expedition at all!" joking around. Jeremiahsmith 14:48, 8 February 2007 (PST)

Rousseau's account
Why is Jin in this section of the article? He should be in a separate section. Rousseau's own testimony of these events is a valid section to keep, even if it is now shown to be incomplete. Montand

Do we definitely know that Montand is in fact deceased? The last scene with him in is left open-ended, his body is never shown, and Danielle never explicitly states that he is dead (not to mention the fact that she is unreliable). - Agreed, there is no evidence one way or the other and it seems like the show wants it to be that way for now. I doubt we are done with the expedition team in terms of the story.--Tezmata 21:26, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

pretty sure the names of the last two were on the press release for episode 5.04
